Chapter 349 – Shaman Skills, Pantheon of the Gods
The spirits bound within the haunted mansion transformed into rays of light and ascended into the sky the moment they were freed.
"Did… did they just go to heaven?"
Allen couldn't understand what he was seeing—spirits turning into light and ascending.
After all, he'd been to the Underworld, but never to Heaven. He had no idea what happened to souls after death.
"I don't know,"
Lorraine shook her head helplessly, unable to provide a clear answer.
Yes, she had medium abilities, but her awareness could only sense demons and malevolent spirits lingering in the world of the living. She couldn't enter Hell, let alone reach Heaven.
Then again, such matters weren't something the living should worry about.
The more pressing issue was that the haunted house was gone.
The mansion collapsed rapidly, as if being devoured, sinking into the ground at a speed visible to the naked eye.
A black mist began to rise like thick smoke from a fire.
Fortunately, the mist was limited to the area of the haunted mansion and didn't spread beyond.
"Barry, your house is on fire."
Allen looked at the flaming ruins of the mansion, feeling an inexplicable sense of familiarity in the air.
Barry couldn't even bring himself to respond—an exorcism had just destroyed his home.
He had truly lost everything—people and property.
"This is a hell gate!"
Ed exclaimed in shock, "I've read about this in a book. A hellgate is a passage from Hell to the human world. Hellfire erupts from the opening, and countless demons descend upon the world to join a grand massacre."
Boom!
A jet of flame burst straight out from the hole in the ground—no trace of the mansion remained.
Allen, summoning his courage, walked to the edge of the opening. A wave of scorching heat blasted him in the face. Looking down, he saw demons climbing up the walls of the pit.
Grotesque and terrifying, the demons clawed their way up, desperate to reach the human world and indulge in its flesh and souls—delicacies utterly irresistible to them.
"What do we do?"
The Warren couple were chilled to the bone.
They had already struggled to deal with just one demon before—now, with an unending horde, they might not even survive the first wave.
Lorraine and Ed hesitated, clearly wanting to flee as far as possible and rally the Church's resistance forces.
"Master, should we retreat?" Bruce asked nervously.
Faced with the endless horde rising from Hell, he had a terrible feeling like the end of the world was upon them.
"Prepare the virgin boy's urine."
Allen unzipped his pants and pulled out the Disaster of the Giant Python.
Bruce's eyes lit up, instantly recalling that virgin urine was said to ward off evil.
"What are you doing?"
Barry, clueless, followed suit and unbuckled his belt.
Lorraine immediately turned around and covered her eyes, her cheeks flushed bright red.
"What is this supposed to mean?"
Ed asked in utter confusion, also taking up a spot at the edge of the pit and ignoring all sense of decency.
"Master taught me," Bruce said with a straight face. "Urine from a man who's never had sex can drive away evil spirits."
As he spoke, Bruce glanced sideways at Allen's impressive "equipment," and curiously asked, "Master, what's that ring you're wearing up there for?"
"That's my Spectral Black Lantern Ring. It's an artifact. I hid it somewhere 'indescribable' so I wouldn't lose it."
"…"
Judging from Allen's manner and behavior, that setup with a ring… strangely made sense.
Meanwhile, the demons climbing the walls looked up at the humans' obscene behavior at the rim of the hole—and fell into stunned confusion.
Are humans… really like this now?
Instead of fearing demons, they were actually peeing at them?
The demons in the lead had nowhere to retreat. Behind them was a never-ending swarm pressing forward, so they had no choice but to grit their teeth and charge through the rain of urine.
Four streams arced through the air, turning into scattered droplets that splashed directly onto the demons' faces.
Helpless, the demons roared in impotent fury. There was still quite a bit of distance left to the top.
"Ahhh, that felt great!"
Allen gave a satisfied shiver and holstered his "weapon."
"The demons aren't dead—they're climbing faster!"
Barry shouted in horror as the demons, now like rabid dogs, charged forward even more aggressively—perhaps enraged by the urine.
Virgin urine was completely useless—it only made the demons more furious.
"Don't be afraid."
Allen stripped off his black robe, revealing a hospital gown underneath. Looking every bit like a religious nut, he declared reverently, "No more pretending. I'm actually Jehovah's father. I've descended to this world to save humanity."
As he spoke, Allen pushed up an imaginary pair of glasses and said, "There's no way I'd admit defeat to a fallen Dragon Slayer."
"…"
Oh.
So the guy was clearly insane.
The Warren couple stared wide-eyed, convinced they were truly dealing with a lunatic.
That would explain the ridiculous business about virgin urine exorcisms.
"Hyaaah… Humiliation Beam of Failure!"
Allen raised his hand in a posture like an elementary schooler reciting in class. A beam of healing light shot from his palm into the pit.
A pale, luminous beam radiating pure Light-element energy fell upon the demons, visibly wounding them as if it were holy fire.

A stream of experience point notifications flooded in, causing Allen's Shaman class level to soar rapidly.
Having arrived in this world, Allen could barely be bothered to even glance at the class details anymore.
After all, zero-level classes were of no use. In contrast, he already had five max-level classes—more than enough to handle a mountain of problems.

…
While the others stood in stunned awe at Allen's bizarre power, he was already deep in thought, analyzing his new class skill.
There was no doubt—Pantheon of the Gods was the core ability of the Shaman class.
In traditional lore, shamans are mediators who serve deities in exchange for supernatural powers.
But in this system's version, the Shaman class had two development paths:
One, follow the traditional route: worship pre-existing deities. But to do that, you needed to win over wild deities and serve them humbly.
The problem? Allen would never willingly serve a god. For all he knew, they'd try to screw him over.
So he had no choice but to take the second route—create his own deities, raise them through worship, and eventually manifest them. The benefit? It inverted the hierarchy—he'd be the master, not the servant. No need to worry about betrayal.
"This class is amazing."
As Allen continued casting skills with one hand, he mused aloud, "I need to create a pantheon that reflects my vibe. Something with just the right amount of flair to match my style."
Heavenly Emperor of Madness, return to your seat!
With that thought, he named the core deity of his pantheon.
Three feet above his head, a palace-like shrine floated into view. A star lit up above the shrine, radiating brilliantly at its center.
Venerable Despicable One, return to your seat!
Venerable Tyrant, return to your seat!
Venerable Shameless One, return to your seat!
Venerable Cunning One, return to your seat!
As five stars lit up in the heavens above, Allen reached the level cap and could create no more deities for now.
He was planning the full layout of his pantheon: a central Heavenly Emperor, four Cardinal Deities, eighteen Celestial Lords, thirty-six Star Sovereigns, seventy-two Divine Generals, and one hundred and eight Spirit Commanders.
