MC POV:
I stood up... barely.
My legs were shaking, swaying like I was drunk. My vision was fuzzy. I looked around, confused.
MC: "Did I... just die?"
I let out a weak chuckle, then blinked.
MC: "Huh... why do I feel so happy?"
My legs gave out, and I flopped right onto my ass with a dumb smile. Then, I started laughing-hard.
MC: "AHAHAHA! WHY AM I HAVING SO MUCH FUNNNN?!"
I clutched my face with both hands, laughter bubbling out like a broken faucet. The kind of laugh that shouldn't come from someone who just died. But I didn't care. It felt good.
And then I heard it.
Asia: "L-Levi!?"
Her voice broke through the fog. I peeked through my fingers and saw her eyes-red, watery, confused.
I leaned forward and got right in her face, grinning like a lunatic.
MC: "Ohhh hey, hey there angel~"
She backed up slightly, trembling.
Asia: "Y-You're alive?! H-How!?"
I tilted my head, letting my tongue hang out slightly with a grin that'd make a cartoon character jealous.
MC: "Hehe... I don't knOOOOWWWWW~!"
I leapt up, arms flailing, flipping in the air like I weighed nothing.
MC: "BUT THIS IS SOOOO FUNNNNN AHAHAHAHA!"
As I landed, the ground beneath her feet suddenly went soft. Squishy. Bouncy. Like a freaking trampoline.
Asia: "W-What the!? The ground-!?"
I couldn't stop giggling.
She nearly tripped, looking around like gravity was breaking. Because, honestly? It was.
Everything was bouncing now. The battlefield wasn't a battlefield anymore. It was a playground. My playground.
Then I looked up.
Issei.
No... that wasn't Issei anymore.
A colossal, scaled beast stood in his place. Wings spread wide. Crimson flames danced off his body. A dragon made of pain and rage, of loss and vengeance.
MC: "Damn... Issei really got BIG, huh hehe."
I looked and smiled, I then shot into the air like a rocket, wind whipping through my white hair, smoke curling around me.
High above Issei's full dragon form, I grinned wide and raised my fists.
MC: "WELL-TIME TO GET STRONG!"
I pulled my arms in tight, then screamed:
MC: "MUSCLE! MUSCLE! MUSCLE!!!"
BOOM! My biceps inflated like balloons. My chest puffed out like I was smuggling two anvils. I looked like a walking, talking action figure gone very wrong-in the best way.
I came crashing down, perfectly landing on Issei's massive tail like it was a springboard.
MC: "Hehe... gimme that~!"
I grabbed it.
Yanked it.
Hard.
Issei's giant dragon eyes popped right out of his head like a Saturday morning cartoon. They bulged comically, spinning like pinwheels.
MC: "ROUND AND ROUND YA GO!!!"
I spun him like a top, faster and faster until the air whistled and the ground blurred. Then-
MC: "AAAAAND... THROW!!!"
I flung him across the battlefield like a rubber chicken at a carnival game.
BOOOING! He hit the bouncy ground and sprang right back at me like a yo-yo on steroids.
MC: "WELCOME BACK!"
POW!
I punched him once-SPARK!
POW!
Twice-ZAP!
POW!!
Three times-PING! Lightning cartoon stars popped around his head as he spun in the air, eyes swirling.
Then I uppercutted him into the sky like he was made of foam.
Still giggling, I bounced down to the ground and landed like a gymnast, then clapped my feet together in a goofy cheer.
MC: "Hehe... I'm having a BLAST!"
Then-ROOOAAARRR!!!
Issei got up, shaking, massive wings spread, fire dripping from his jaws. He looked furious. I mean, scary. Even for me.
MC: "Ooooooh scary~!"
I turned toward him, puffed my cheeks, and let out my own exaggerated roar like a cartoon lion.
MC: "RRAAAAAWWWDRRRRRR!!!!"
He didn't laugh.
Instead-BOOM! He fired a massive beam of pure dragon energy at me.
My eyes popped out of my head like springs.
MC: "HOLY-!!"
In a panic, I grabbed the ground itself, yanked it up like a thick blanket, and twisted it like rubber.
The blast hit the floor-wall and BOUNCED.
Right. Back. Into. His. FACE.
BA-BOOOM!
His dragon jaw snapped backward as he tumbled into the air again, smoke and stars flying everywhere.
I rolled on the floor, clutching my stomach, tears in my eyes.
MC: "HAHAHAHA-Did you see his face?! I bounced a beam off the FLOOR!!!"
NO POV
Smoke still lingered in the battlefield, the air charged with mana and tension. The skies above rumbled faintly, a reminder of the chaos that had just erupted.
Rias stood frozen with her group, watching the bizarre spectacle before them.
A figure danced across the sky, moving with strange, cartoonish agility, laughing like a madman as he fought the dragon-form of Issei. He bounced, twisted the earth like rubber, and deflected blasts with absurd ease.
Kiba: "Who the hell... is he?!"
Kiba narrowed his eyes, his hand on his sword, ready for anything.
Akeno: "I don't know... but I think he's on our side."
Even Akeno, ever calm, looked both confused and shocked.
Koneko's fists were still clenched at her sides, trembling with rage and grief.
Koneko: "Levi is dead... and now this clown shows up..."
Then-
Footsteps. Fast and desperate.
Xenovia: "Asia?!"
Asia ran toward them, breath heavy, her golden hair bouncing behind her. Everyone turned to face her, shocked.
She stopped right in front of them, panting.
Azazel stepped forward, arms crossed.
Azazel: "So... did you give up on healing Levi?"
His voice was cold, but something in his eyes was still gentle.
Silence. A heavy one.
Then-Asia smiled.
Asia: "There's no need."
The group blinked. Confused.
Koneko(Confused): "What... do you mean?"
Asia turned slowly and pointed toward the white-haired, laughing, chaotic figure now pulling Issei's tail like a rope.
Asia(Smiling): "That... is Levi."
Everyone: "HUH?!"
Their eyes snapped back to the battlefield.
Irina: "Are you serious?! We saw him die!"
Asia: "I don't know how... but he's alive. I saw him get up with my own eyes."
Kiba's eyes widened. His mouth parted in disbelief.
Kiba(Shocked): "It's really him..."
Koneko(shocked): "H-He's alive..."
Tears burst from Koneko's eyes as she dropped to her knees.
Kiba(Smiling): "HE'S ALIVE!!!"
The mood shifted-grief turning into joy, despair into laughter.
Akeno covered her mouth in shock. Kiba smiled. Rias hands trembled. Xenovia sniffled.
But Azazel... Azazel stared, completely stunned.
Azazel (thinking): Just what... is that power? What is he doing?
His thoughts were interrupted as a small figure appeared beside him.
A black-haired, expressionless girl with purple eyes.
???: "Umm... what's this?"
Azazel nearly jumped.
Azazel: "O-Ophis...?"
She tilted her head.
Ophis: "Hey there."
She gave a small smile.
Azazel blinked, his jaw dropping.
Azazel (thinking): Shit... she's smiling. She's watching him. Don't tell me... she's interested?!
He turned to look at the battlefield again as the chaotic, grinning Levi spun through the air, still laughing.
Azazel's eyes went wide again as he slumped forward, deadpan.
Azazel: "Levi... you've got a hell of a road ahead of you."
They all watched as the storm of madness continued-with awe, joy, and more than a little fear.
And Levi? He just kept laughing.
MC (Levi): "HEHEHE-Let's keep the party going!!"
MC POV
I was still laughing, tugging on Issei's tail like it was a rope toy.
MC:"Come onnnnn, dragon boy! Who's a good wyvern?!"
Suddenly-
WHAM!
Issei's tail slammed into my face with enough force to crack mountains.
MC: "WOOOAHH!!"
I spiraled through the sky, sent flying straight up into the... wait-
MC (thinking): Hold up. How the hell does Hell have clouds?!
I flew into them anyway, vanishing from sight with a poof of smoke.
Everyone stared up. Tension rising. Worried eyes. Asia gasped. Rias covered her mouth. Koneko stepped forward.
Issei (Dragon Form): RAAAAAAAAAWRRR!!
Suddenly-
BOOOOOOM!!!
A GIANT foot stomped down from the clouds above. My new form descended-massive, toony, muscles bulging with goofy definition-laughing like a lunatic.
MC (giant form): "HAHAHAHA!!! Who's ready for ROUND TWO?!"
The others eyes bulged out of their heads like a Looney Tune.
Kiba & Koneko: "WHEWWW!!!"
Ophis (calmly): "Incredible."
I landed with a BOOM, the ground bouncing like jelly under my weight.
Then I opened my arms wide.
MC: "C'mere, ya big lizard! Bring it in!!"
I pulled Issei into a giant bear hug before FLIPPING him over my shoulder like a sack of potatoes, slamming his head into the ground. A cartoon "CRACK" echoed as dust exploded.
MC: "Gotcha!"
I bounced backward with a giggle, shrinking back to my smaller form in midair.
Then I lifted my arm high-my hand stretching like rubber-electricity crackling around it.
MC: "Alright, let's wrap this up, shall we?!"
A bolt of lightning shaped like a bullet spun in my palm, glowing white-hot.
MC: "LIGHTNING... BULLET!"
FWOOOOOM!!!
I hurled it down.
BOOOOOOM!!!
The ground erupted, light and shockwaves tearing through the battlefield. Everyone shielded their faces from the blast. When the smoke cleared, Issei's massive dragon armor was cracked, his body motionless, sparks flickering off him.
I landed softly nearby, my bare feet patting against the now-bouncy earth.
I turned to Rias, who stared in total confusion.
MC: "Well... now it's your time to shine, red."
Rias: "Huh?!"
Kiba: "What is he-?"
Before she could speak, I yoinked her by the waist.
MC: "Trust me."
Then I got into a throwing position.
Rais(Shaking):"W-WAIT A SECOND!!"
With a swing and a chuckle, I threw her like a spiral football straight at Issei's broken armor.
MC: "GOOOO TEAM LOVE!!!"
She disappeared into the remnants of his dragon form. The whole battlefield was still.
Seconds passed.
Then-
FLASH!
A bright light surged. The armor cracked fully open. And-
Issei stumbled out, human again, barely conscious. Rias stepped forward, glowing softly, her hair fluttering in the wind.
The dragon vanished in particles of light.
Asia (tearing up): "He's... back."
I, of course, was just floating on my back, kicking my feet and laughing hysterically.
MC: "HEHEHE! That was soooo FUNNY!! Did you see his FACE when I flipped him?! Bwahaha!"
Ophis floated beside me, tilting her head.
Ophis: "You are strange. I like it."
Azazel (Chuckling): "This kid powers are no joke."
I was still floating in the sky, arms behind my head, grinning like an idiot.
MC (thinking):Man, that lightning move was so clean-
FWOOOOSH!!
A shimmering portal opened mid-air behind me. Akeno turned around first, eyes wide.
Akeno: "Wait... Sona? S-Sarafall?!"
The two Sitri sisters leapt through the portal, Sarafall striking a dramatic magical girl pose mid-air, sparkles flying.
Sarafall: "I'VE COME TO HELP!"
Sona (out of breath): "We sensed something huge and came immediately."
Behind them, Sirzechs stepped through, cape fluttering like he was entering a fashion show.
Sirzechs (serious): "Is everyone safe?"
Kiba (saluting): "Yessir! We're all okay, thanks to... well, him."
Sona: "Where's the threat? Where's the danger?"
Azazel (smirking): "Too late. It's already been... handled."
The three stared, confused.
Sarafall (pouting): "Awwww! So we're not needed?!"
Sirzechs (curious): "Wait. Does that mean Rias and her peerage defeated Shalba?"
Azazel (pointing upward): "Nope. He did."
They all followed his finger... and saw me. Just floating there.
Giggling.
Kicking my legs like I was on a hammock made of clouds.
Sarafall & Sirzechs (in sync): "WHO IS THAT?!"
Asia (smiling sweetly): "That's Levi."
Sona (shocked): "Wha-Levi?! Levi's here?!"
She squinted up at me.
Sona (muttering): "But... why does he look so... Beautiful?"
Sarafall (blushing slightly): "He looks sooooo cool though...!"
Back to me.
I stared up at the sky... peaceful...
MC (thinking): I wonder if there's a snack bar in hell...
Suddenly-
BOOOOOOM!!!
A massive shadow passed over me.
A GIANT DRAGON.
MC: "OHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
It soared above, scales glittering, bigger than anything I'd ever seen.
MC (grinning ear to ear): "Hehe... Great Red... you look way cooler in person."
The dragon just kept flying, majestic and terrifying. Everyone below gawked.
Rias (stunned): "That's Great Red?!"
Azazel (rubbing his temples): "First Levi, now Great Red... what's next, Ophis doing karaoke?"
Ophis (suddenly beside him): "I sing well."
Azazel (jumping): "GAAHH-don't sneak up on me like that!!"
Back in the sky, I gave Great Red a thumbs-up.
MC: "Yo! Cool wings, bro!"
Great Red didn't answer. He was a dragon, not a chatty one.
Still, I couldn't help but laugh again.
MC: "Man... today's been awesome hehe."
