Chapter 165 - Chapter 165: The Invincible Little Lolita

The ground trembled.

Rumbling filled the cave as terrifying fluctuations of power erupted, sweeping through the ancient altar like a storm of destruction. The oppressive wave spread in every direction, shaking the cavern walls, rattling broken pillars, and tearing apart loose stone as though the very world had decided to collapse.

A tide of crimson energy—wild, violent, and absolute—surged outward. It was not merely power. It was domination, an overwhelming force that rejected everything it touched. Sparks of divine flame that had once danced proudly around the ancient god were instantly erased the moment they brushed against the crimson tide. Even solid rock disintegrated into fine dust, carried away as though it had never existed.

The old god froze. A being who had lived since ages long forgotten, who had devoured countless sacrifices, who was worshipped by zealots—yet this power made even him feel a flicker of fear.

"What… is this?" he muttered in disbelief.

It was not ordinary destruction. It was the denial of existence itself. That crimson wave carried a tyrannical will that refused to acknowledge the world around it. To be touched by it was to be unmade.

And now, that terrible force rushed toward him like a crimson ocean intent on swallowing the sky.

The old god tried to move, but he was too late. In a fraction of a second, the red tide engulfed part of his colossal body. One of his massive arms dissolved into nothingness—erased as though it had never been.

"ROOOAR!"

The cavern shook with his scream. Agony exploded through him as rivers of molten flame poured from his wounds like volcanic eruptions. The god's fury burned hotter, his colossal eyes narrowing with a murderous glare.

With his remaining arm, he swept downward, ignoring the little girl who floated in the air like a scarlet phantom. His massive hand blotted out the cavern ceiling and came crashing toward the altar below. The sheer wind pressure from his movement scattered stone debris and sent howling gusts across the ruined chamber.

But Little Sally remained untouched, floating in the center of the maelstrom. Not a single grain of dust dared touch her body. The crimson aura around her shimmered like a barrier beyond comprehension.

At her side, the Cosmo golden retriever crouched low, lips pulled back to reveal razor-sharp teeth. Its black eyes locked on the god with killing intent. Its master had told it to hold back, but the dog's instinct screamed otherwise. The moment its little mistress was threatened, hesitation vanished.

The golden retriever growled—a low, guttural sound that rumbled in its chest like a warning from a beast of legend.

Then, Sally moved.

The adorable expression that usually defined her face had vanished. Her small frame now radiated a sense of majesty, as if she carried the weight of a forgotten age. Crimson energy coiled around her like a living thing, whispering with the voices of eternity. Her ponytail floated upward against gravity, and her pupils, once bright and innocent, now glowed red with cold power.

Around her, a faint phantom shimmered into being—its outline vague, yet impossible to ignore. The presence carried an overwhelming dignity, a beauty that made even the ancient god falter.

With a calmness that belied her childlike body, Sally lifted her hand.

Her small index finger brushed the empty air.

And the world answered.

A booming detonation ripped through the cavern. Crimson light erupted like a tidal wave, coiling upward and then crashing down upon the god's colossal arm. The divine limb collapsed instantly, crumbling apart under her gaze, disintegrating into ash before his horrified eyes.

For a single, eternal moment, the little girl appeared less like a child and more like a judge of gods, delivering her verdict.

Her clear, childish voice—sweet but carrying infinite coldness—rang out:

"Die."

The word struck harder than any weapon.

The full force of Sally's disaster-class power erupted without restraint. The cavern seemed to shudder beneath the pressure, the air itself screaming as the crimson tide swept across every inch of the old god's body.

The god tried to resist, but even his soul was shackled. His colossal body trembled, unable to move, his mind screaming as his essence was shredded piece by piece. He could do nothing but watch as he crumbled.

"No… no, this cannot be! I am eternal!" His roar echoed, but already his hundred-meter frame was collapsing. Like ink smeared across white parchment, his existence was rubbed away. Flesh, bone, divine flame, even his consciousness—all dissolved beneath the crimson waves.

In less than three minutes, the ancient god was gone.

A being worshipped for countless years, researched and feared by mortals, perished utterly at the hands of a little girl.

Silence followed.

Sally floated in midair, her crimson aura slowly dimming. At her side, Cosmo remained poised, ready to attack, but the battle was already over.

Back in the underground research base, the scene on the giant monitor left every scientist frozen in disbelief. For more than a decade, they had sacrificed lives, blood, and sanity to awaken this ancient deity. They had dreamed of bending his power to their will. And now, that god was nothing but empty air.

"This… this can't be real," whispered one trembling man. His greasy face twisted in denial.

"We're dreaming," another said with a hollow laugh. "Yes… it's a dream. A funny dream…"

Several began to slap themselves, desperate to wake up. But the pain only confirmed the nightmare was real.

Their faith collapsed.

Some screamed. Others broke into hysterical laughter. One heavyset researcher grabbed his colleague by the collar, shouting, "Tell me this isn't true! Say it!" His words dripped with desperation, but the other man only stared blankly, muttering incomprehensible fragments.

The god they had worshipped for ten long years had been erased by a child. The irony crushed their sanity.

But while they wallowed in despair, Sally turned her head.

Her glowing eyes pierced through the cameras watching her. She didn't need to see them; she could feel them. The base's rotten stench of cruelty and corruption clung to the mountains not far from the cave.

Her lips parted, voice soft yet merciless:

"Filthy things… should be cleansed."

The golden retriever's ears twitched. It met her gaze and understood. Blue light flared around its body, and in the next instant, the girl and her guardian vanished.

They reappeared high above the mountains, less than ten kilometers away. The base lay hidden beneath the peaceful ridges, its surface serene to the naked eye. To Sally's crimson gaze, however, the mountain was saturated with foul energy—the residue of countless twisted experiments and suffering.

Her small brows furrowed. She remembered her sister's words: when faced with evil that cannot be forgiven… destroy it.

The red glow in her eyes burned brighter.

Crimson ripples surged outward, sweeping across the mountain range like a god's decree.

The earth cracked. Peaks collapsed. Screams echoed from below as the base, its laboratories, its researchers, and all their atrocities were swallowed in an avalanche of destruction.

When the tremors faded, nothing remained. No buildings, no screams, no traces of the experiments. Only rubble and silence beneath the evening sky.

The little girl floated in the air, hair drifting in the lingering energy, while her golden retriever watched beside her. The evil had been erased. The world was clean once more.

An ancient god destroyed. A hidden base annihilated.

And the legend of the invincible little lolita had only just begun.
