"Go." Tengen commanded his Wood Clones.
The clones scattered in all directions. Though they lacked the full power of Tengen's original body, even a fraction of his strength was catastrophic for the Kumo-nin.
Tengen's true power was simply too overwhelming.
The Third Raikage and his allies didn't try to stop the clones. They knew it was futile.
Tengen could create countless such clones, especially given his ability to use Wood Release: Advent of a World of Flowering Trees, a testament to his immense chakra reserves.
Even his clones weren't easily dealt with.
"A, Killer B, retreat." The Raikage said gravely, making his final decision. Whatever had happened in the Kirigakure, he realized the Kumo-nin weren't ready to face Tengen.
Tengen's involvement made their defeat almost certain.
A large-scale rout of the Kumogakure was something the Raikage couldn't allow.
"Raikage-sama." Killer B said, looking at him.
"Father, what about you?" A asked urgently.
"I'll catch up. You retreat first." The Raikage ordered.
A gritted his teeth. "Kumo-nin, with me! Retreat!"
"Yes, A-sama!" The nearby Kumo-nin shouted.
"Go." Killer B and A said, departing. They needed to alert Kumo-nin on other battlefields as well.
Tengen's clones had already spread across the fronts.
Tengen didn't stop their retreat. He had received a mission.
"Kill the Third Raikage to obtain an ultra-clear Naruto video."
"Kill the Third Raikage, huh?" Tengen's gaze fixed on the Raikage. With this mission, he had no intention of letting the Raikage escape. It was also a chance to test his combat prowess since gaining the Saiyan Bloodline.
"Teacher Orochimaru, take the others to handle the remaining Kumo-nin. The Third Raikage is mine." Tengen said calmly.
"Very well, it's all yours." Orochimaru nodded. "Konoha ninja, with me!"
Soon, the battlefield held only Tengen and the Third Raikage.
"You think you can keep me here?" The Raikage said, meeting Tengen's gaze and sensing the killing intent.
"Yes, Third Raikage. This time, you won't escape." Tengen said with a faint smile.
"Is that so? If I want to leave, you can't stop me." The Raikage roared, his Lightning Release Chakra Mode surging. His body turned into a bolt of lightning, vanishing from Tengen's sight.
"Fast, but I can keep up." Tengen said, his figure disappearing as well.
In the distance, a violent clash echoed, the earth splitting apart.
Tengen and the Raikage reappeared, their fists colliding.
Tengen merely swayed, while the Raikage was hurled backward.
"Such strength." The Raikage said, shaking his right hand. The exchange hadn't injured him.
But he knew escaping Tengen would be nearly impossible. He hadn't expected Tengen's speed to surpass his own in Lightning Release Chakra Mode.
And Tengen hadn't even used the Eight Gates, which would make his taijutsu even more formidable.
"If I can't escape." The Raikage said, taking a deep breath, "then, Tengen, witness my power."
Countless lightning bolts crackled around the Raikage, sparking with intensity.
The lightning coalesced, forming a shimmering armor.
"Lightning Release: Thunder God Armor!"
A layer of lightning cloaked the Raikage, enhancing his already formidable defense in Lightning Release Chakra Mode.
Known as the strongest shield, his body became even more impervious with this technique.
Moreover, his strength and speed in this state grew exponentially.
"Let's continue this fight." The Raikage grinned, stomping the ground. The earth cracked, forming a deep crater, and he vanished.
"Die!" He reappeared above Tengen, his hand slicing down like a blade.
Charged with lightning, the air tore apart, sonic booms rippling outward.
"Armament Haki: Hardening." Tengen said, his right arm turning pitch-black, like a void. His enhanced Armament Haki reached a terrifying level.
Boom! Their arms collided, and Tengen was driven into the ground, the immense force transferring beneath him.
A circular crater expanded, as if carved by an unseen force.
This was merely the aftermath of Tengen and the Raikage's clash.
The shockwaves alone wielded such destructive power, a testament to their superhuman taijutsu.
"Impressive. Very powerful." Tengen said with a smile. "But it's not enough."
He pulled his legs from the earth and charged at the Raikage.
Boom! They clashed rapidly across the battlefield.
The ground shattered, trees collapsed, and an area spanning a kilometer was ravaged by these two human Tailed Beasts.
It looked as if actual Tailed Beasts had rampaged through.
Their battle's intensity reached Konoha ninja pursuing enemies and retreating Kumo-nin alike.
They marveled at the power required to create such devastation, felt even from so far away.
"Father." A said, gazing at the distant battlefield.
"Brother, I believe Raikage-sama will return." Killer B said.
"Follow me. We're retreating." A said firmly, leading the way.
