"Thank you" Saya spoke low as she thanked even though her voice was low but everyone could hear that
Meanwhile, Kaneki who received the girl's thanks was very silent like he did not care but inside he was a little happy to hear gratitude from people
It was more like he could sense the sincerity in a tone that he very rarely Received making him happy Inside
Even though he didn't spend any time with these girls, he knows these people aren't bad because even in these conditions they decided to help Shizuka

Since Kaneki said this as told Shizuka to stop at the grocery store but instead she stopped at the cafe making her confused
She isn't the only one who got confused by this as Saeko also Saya were in the same condition since They did not know the reason
Kaneki could not help but have a small smile since He was feeling happy that someone finally understood him
"good" He replied to Shizuka As he untied his seatbelt and prepared to Go out but before he could go out
But before he went, he looked at Shizuka Who also untied her seat belt as she was also planning to go with him as he said "Stay in the car"
"But why?~," she asked this question with clear confusion since she also wanted to go with him but she couldn't understand why he was refusing
"It is not safe" He replied to her as he at her thinking whether she was really that dense or she was just too brave
"But you will protect me, right?~" Shizuka asked this question With certainty in her tone, especially after witnessing today's events, which is why she is so confident that even if she went with him outside then surely he would protect her
"..." Kaneki went silent after hearing what Shizuka had said as he couldn't refute her at all even though he couldn't deny her words
Still, he doesn't wanna take her out for things like these since compared to outside, it is way safer inside this car since he was pretty sure they will be safe from zombies that way
And not to mention it will take little time for him to be done here which is the reason he dont wanna bring her with him
There is another reason that if there are some zombies hiding inside in a small place then it will be difficult for him to protect Her
"stay here, I will be back soon big sister," Kaneki said as he thought this might be the most effective way to make her agree to his request
Hearing this, gave her a little shock Because he really never called her elder sister on his own initiative as she couldn't stop a sweet smile from appearing on her face
"If you ask nicely, this big sister will agree to her little brother's request~," Shizuka said in a sweet tone as she finally agreed to his request
Kaneki hearing this finally felt relief as he finally got out of the car, after getting outside he entered the cafe which seemed to be in not good condition
He could see broken windows, cracked walls And lastly broken furniture making him wonder how much these Mindless Creatures damaged the properties
At first, when he saw those zombies, he wasn't as shocked as other people as he had already seen way worse Creatures than these zombies
'It's fortunate that they Are mindless' Kaneki said this in his mind because zombies being mindless makes Them easy to predict and from what he has known, they are only sensitive to noise
This is the reason he thinks with proper Strategy, any Human can survive in this situation but Here here Problem is with the population of zombies
It increases every minute as from what he knows and sees humans after getting bitten, bitten human also becomes another mindless creature
So he Guesses that those mindless creatures bite them and release some kind of virus into the victim's body which spreads rapidly enough to turn a victim into a mindless Creature within seconds
That is terrifying thats the reason he wanna capture one of these zombie Creatures for research Since He doesn't only Have power but also brains
He feels if he has the Time and the right types of equipment then maybe he could make an anti-virus or cure for that virus which Could make mindless Creatures back into humans
But he doubts it will be a good thing because from what he has seen so far, he has seen zombies having severe injuries on their body
Like severed jaw, broken hands and legs, damaged eyes and lastly damaged heads since right now they dont have minds which is the reason they dont feel pain
But he is afraid that even if somehow makes an Antivirus or cure for this and uses it on zombies and even if it worked Then is only Gonna make them die due to those already inflicted injuries or pain
So the most logical way to use it will be when a person just got infected since thats where he believes the person could get back to normal without issues
With those thoughts, he really wants to research some zombies since it is way better to have some backup for Shizuka or other people with him in case they get infected
The problem is that he doesn't know where to find the right types of equipment, especially in this situation, seeing how condition of these buildings, he does not have that much Hope that he will find the the right equipment in good condition
