(Late at night when everyone was soundly asleep in their beds when a bright light suddenly flashed through the windows and everyone groaned in annoyance from the light.)
Jen: "Ugh."
(Jen said.)
Jen: "Morning already?"
Ben: "Someone turn off the sun!"
(Ben said, burying himself in his pillow.)
Max: "It's 3:30 in the morning."
(Max said.)
Max: "The sun doesn't come out for another two hours."
Gwen: "Ugh."
(Gwen said as she and her sister got out of the top bunk while Allison kicked the sheets off her couch bed and slipped her feet into her... fuzzy bunny slippers.)
Becky: "Really?"
(Becky asked.)
Becky: "You wear bunny slippers?"
Allison: "Don't push my buttons, Becky, and I won't push yours."
(the perky goth said.)
(They exited the Rust Bucket in a hurry when they saw a large spaceship deploy its landing gear and land in front of them, the wind blowing everyone's hair back.)
(Then, two strange figures emerged from the cockpit of the ship.)
Jen: "I don't know who those two are, but they're going to think twice about changing our wake up call."
(Jen said, activating her Omnitrix.)
Jen: "Going hero!"
(That was when a laser blast and a green crystal burst forwards and shocked them out of their determined state.)
Allison: "What?"
(Allison asked, looking at the crystal.)
Allison: "A diamondhead crystal?"
???: "Seriously? After all the prompting that we gave you two months ago?"
(The two figures walked forwards and took off their helmets, revealing two old friends from the beginning of summer.)
Jen: "Tetrax! Maya!"
(Jen said with a smile to the two intergalactic bounty hunters.)
Tetrax: "Good to see you two again, Ben, Jen."
(Tetrax said, giving them the soldiers pose.)
Jen: "You guys too."
(Jen said as she and her brother returned the gesture.)
Maya: "I see that you guys got some new friends as well."
(Maya said to the two newcomers.)
Allison: "Hi."
(Allison said.)
Allison: "I'm Allison. I'm a really good friend that they picked up along the way and... I'm an Osmosian with the power of absorption. I can touch anything and create an armor for myself or I can absorb energy."
Becky: "And I'm Rebecca Tennyson, Gwen's sister. But you can just call me Becky."
(Becky said with a smile.)
Becky: "They found me and picked me up in the Null Void after I was imprisoned there for five years."
Tetrax: "Ah."
(Tetrax said.)
Tetrax: "I thought I heard about reports of a human child getting tossed into the Null Void about five years ago. Heard the culprit behind that ended up on Incarcecon."
Gwen: "We haven't seen you guys since we took down Sixsix and Kraab together."
(Gwen said.)
Gwen: "How have you been?"
Maya: "We've been doing well, little one."
(Maya said.)
Maya: "We've been busy with our hunts since we last saw you guys."
Tetrax: "But we came to Earth as soon as we heard."
(Tetrax said.)
Ben: "Yeah."
(Ben said.)
Ben: "About munching that X-321 hoverboard you gave me. See, we were going after Dr. Animo and I kinda zigged instead of zagged and, well..."
Tetrax: "I'm not here about that board, Ben."
(Tetrax reassured him.)
Jen: "You're not?"
(Jen asked.)
Jen: "Then why are you guys here?"
Maya: "We picked up the SDM signal from the Omnitrixes."
(Maya explained.)
Ben: "These?"
(Ben asked.)
Ben: "It's just the watches going wacko again. It's no big deal."
Max: "SDM?"
(Max asked as he stepped forward.)
Max: "Self-Destruct Mode?"
(The kids all recoiled and gasped at that statement.)
Tetrax: "Indeed."
(Tetrax said.)
Tetrax: "The Omnitrixes broadcast a signal to the entire galaxy before they begin their countdown. The watches are going to destroy themselves?"
Maya: "Along with whoever is wearing them at the time."
(Maya confirmed.)
Ben: "Oh man."
Tetrax: "So."
(Tetrax said.)
Tetrax: "You two have no idea what may have triggered the Omnitrixes' self-destruct mode?"
Ben: "Um..."
(Ben said as he and Jen immediately flashed back and remembered how they overloaded Animo's DNA bomb, which sent out the DNA wave.)
Jen: "I think I have a good idea."
(Jen exasperated.)
Jen: "It was that DNA bomb that Animo had. That DNA wave must have triggered the SDM."
Becky: "We warned you guys that you didn't know what that was going to do!"
(Becky shouted.)
Ben: "Hey, it doesn't matter now."
(Ben said.)
Ben: "Tetrax and Maya are here to take care of it."
Maya: "You two are going to be disappointed."
(Maya said with a bow of her head.)
Maya: "Neither of us have the faintest idea how to deactivate the Omnitrixes. Only Azmuth would know how to do that."
Jen: "Azmuth?"
(Jen asked.)
Jen: "Who's Azmuth?"
Tetrax: "The rumored creator of the Omnitrixes."
(Tetrax said.)
Tetrax: "The rumors about him are sketchy at best and completely false at worst."
Maya: "No one is even sure which planet he lives on or if he even exists at all."
(Maya said.)
Gwen: "So."
(Gwen asked.)
Gwen: "How exactly do you plan on finding him?"
Tetrax: "On the ship, we have the equipment we need to scan the Omnitrixes for Azmuth's DNA signature."
(Tetrax said.)
Tetrax: "It's like an autograph on his work for you Earthlings. Once we're done with that, we can scan the galaxy until we locate him."
(Maya examined the red and orange beeping on the Omnitrixes as Max looked on in worry for his grandchildren.)
Max: "How long until the watches self-destruct?"
Maya: "Judging by the patterns' repetition, I'd estimate about four Earth days."
(Maya said.)
Maya: "Not a lot of time at all."
Tetrax: "We'd better get going."
(Tetrax said.)
Tetrax: "There's no telling who else picked up on the SDM signals."
Jen: "Road trip: space style!"
(Jen cheered.)
(A few minutes later after the twins got dressed, Maya looked on at the remainder of the team as they looked on with worry.)
Maya: "I'm sorry, Max."
(Maya told the ex-Plumber.)
Maya: "We can't run the risk of some alien somewhere recognizing you from your Plumber days."
Max: "I understand."
(Max sighed before turning to Gwen and Becky.)
Max: "I guess you two are going to get that break from your cousins after all."
Gwen: "I hope you guys make it."
(Gwen said with a sigh as Max turned to Jen.)
Max: "I'm concerned that you and your brother aren't taking this seriously."
Jen: "Seriously?"
(Jen asked.)
Jen: "This is our lives at stake here should the watches take us with them."
Ben: "It's always serious, Grandpa."
(Ben said.)
Ben: "And we always win."
Allison: "Yeah, with some help."
(Allison said.)
Allison: "When was the last time you guys saved the day without us?"
Jen: "We'll be okay."
(Jen said.)
Jen: "We'll find Azmuth, he'll fix the Omnitrixes and we'll be back before you know it."
Becky: "I hope so."
(Becky said.)
Gwen: "Try not to mess things up, okay guys?"
(Gwen asked.)
Ben: "Since when do we mess things up?"
(Ben asked.)
Gwen: "Do you guys want your list in chronological or alphabetical order?"
Max: "Please."
(Max begged.)
Max: "Take good care of my grandkids."
Tetrax: "Don't worry."
(Tetrax said.)
Tetrax: "They're in good hands."
(The hatch of the ship closed, leaving the twins with the bounty hunters inside.)
Ben: "Whoa."
(Ben said, admiring all the awesome machines and equipment inside of the ship.)
Tetrax: "Yes, it is cool isn't it?"
(Tetrax asked as Maya deactivated her Morph Suit, leaving her in a bright purple jumpsuit and boots with her pigtails down as she and Tetrax led our heroes away.)
Tetrax: "The Resolute has everything that you could want in a space ship."
(They walked onto a platform that lifted up like an elevator before reaching the top and moving throughout the rather large ship as they glared after our heroes.)
Jen: "Whoa."
(Jen said as she admired the scenery the group passed.)
Jen: "What's this stuff?"
Maya: "The training room."
(Maya said.)
Maya: "We have to stay in tip-top shape between missions."
(They then stopped at a green sector with two hoverboards on by a screen.)
Tetrax: "This is my hover simulator."
(Tetrax explained.)
Tetrax: "It can recreate over a thousand different courses. You two are welcome to use it at any time."
(Finally, they entered what appeared to be the flight cockpit and their eyes widened in wonder at how futuristic it looked and their jaws dropped.)
Ben: "Wow."
(Ben said.)
Ben: "It's like every nerd's heaven."
Jen: "It's like a live action video game."
(Jen said as they walked forwards to the controls when a bright orange blob with three green eyes popped up from the cockpit and she recoiled back.)
Jen: "Ew! Living snot!"
Tetrax: "That's my pilot, Gluto."
(Tetrax explained.)
Ben: "Hey."
(Ben said as Gluto relaxed back at the controls.)
Ben: "Nice to meet you too."
Maya: "I assume that the pair of you are familiar with space travel protocol?"
(Maya asked as she sat down in her seat as Ben nodded.)
Jen: "Well, we have been in space before."
(Jen said.)
Tetrax: "Then let's go."
(Tetrax said as Gluto pulled on the levers, which fired up the engines and retracted the landing gear as the Resolute started hovering in the air as Max stepped back in awe.)
(Our heroes strapped themselves into the seats to brace for takeoff as Gluto pressed a button on the controls as they suddenly blasted off at lightspeed into outer space.)
(Ben and Jen found themselves not ready for the sudden shift in speed like they did as XLR8 and their hair was blown back as Ben screamed.)
Ben: "So this is what a pancake feels like!"
(The twins then suddenly floated out of their seats and smiled as they did somersaults in the air, giggling all the while.)
Maya: "Activate artificial gravity, Gluto."
(Maya ordered as the gelatinous alien nodded and turned on said feature, sending the twins crashing to the ground in a heap.)
Ben: "You know, space travel looks so much easier in the movies."
(They looked up to see the two bounty hunters glaring over them.)
Maya: "I hate to interrupt your nap time, kids."
(Maya said.)
Maya: "But we have work to do."
Tetrax: "We need to examine the Omnitrixes."
(Tetrax said as they were led towards the science bay.)
