At dawn, the residents of Shao Kui Town were awakened by the sound of tractors starting up, followed by the blaring of military trumpets "toot toot toot..."
The East African military camp was located right in the center of Shao Kui City. As Shao Kui was an important town for the former Portuguese, after the war, many Portuguese and natives remained, so to prevent local rebellion, the army did not fully withdraw.
