The battle between Thunderwrath and the Wolfbull Lord officially began.
Yet neither of them attacked.
They stood there, grounded, coiled, ready to explode.
The Wolfbull Lord stared at the human with silver horns before him, a flicker of apprehension buried deep in his eyes. Yes, he believed he would still win. But he also knew it would not be easy. Not after all this.
Even if the dragon had reverted from dragon to human, he was still a dragon. Deep down.
And that grin.
That damn grin.
It was carved across Thunderwrath's face as if the Wolfbull Lord were nothing more than a meal waiting to be devoured.
"Are you ready yet?" Thunderwrath asked cheerfully.
Another second passed.
"Any more minutes and I won't be able to stop myself from pouncing on you."
He was still smiling.
The Wolfbull Lord growled. This damn dragon was looking down on him. Treating him with negligence. Mocking him with that creepy grin.
That would change.
