" What the heck, am I seeing what I'm seeing right now!!! " Zoi yelled as he took a step back " what you don't want it?" " No! That's not what I mean, seriously though is this actually real " zoi wondered " this....this is something that is only awakened on the awakening ceremony, wait now that I think about it, I've also opened my Mana vault " zoi stammered "...people have died just to acquire the Branch's basic trait talkless of the advanced one, but to think one day I'll actually acquire one, no wait the two " " it seems like you're not proud of the reward, we shall redraw it immediately ".
" No!! Wait that's not what I mean, it's just unbelievable that you gave it out as a random reward " zoi explained " all right, I understand, anyways for your growth i suggest you integrate these two techniques, though you'll have to risk your life meditating for an hour which would drop your guard leaving you vulnerable for monsters " the system explained .
" Woah seriously, then why would that be a problem for me, I'll just hide in the cave till I'm done " " you idiot do you think you'll be safe just because you're gonna hide in a cave " the system diasplayed as zoi walked towards the cave " oh shut up,this is a flawless plan yet you say such rubbish, also there's no way I'll just go in there with out concealing my presence " " don't come crying when you're in trouble, I'll be on hibernation from now till they've been completely synthesized " the system displayed before immediately disappearing " wait a minute, that can't be right!!! " Zoi yelled but there was no response, he frowned and walked towards the cave " alright, I understand, you're given me the silent treatment just because MY PLAN IS AWESOME!!! " Zoi yelled immediately startling the birds who quietly watched him " hey Bob, do you think this human is alright " one of the bird asked the other " It's best to leave him alone Mike, who knows what's going through his head " the other responded as the flew away " ack, my nose is itchy, is someone talking about me?... I can't believe I'm that famous ".
- AT A DIFFERENT PART OF THE MOUNAIN -
" Uggh, Young master " Val who was obviously looking worn out, yelled with a lifeless voice " ah, I'm so tired, when will I find the Young master " Val wondered as he staggered through the forest while being unknowingly followed by an unknown person...or was he " seriously, who's this person that's following me, am I being stalked.....no it can't be it'll have to be an enemy " Val immediately brought out a kunai and threw it towards a tree behind him, but to his suprise it came back at him at a faster pace directly going towards his head, but at the nick of time, he shifted his head, bearly avoiding it, leaving only a scratch on his left cheek, he swiftly spins around grabbing the kunai and jumps away backwards away from the tree with a suprised expression, he looked at his wrist which was uncontrollably shaking in shock, the wrist was dislocated, he immediately kept the kunai and looked towards the tree " Who's there, you may think I'm old, but I'm still alive and kickin' " Val calmly said as he walked towards the tree " I'm not sure if you know this, but no one except one person has ever dislocated any of my bones " Val continued as he immediately readjusted his wrist, forcing it back into place, but still there was no response " it's already dusk, I mustn't waste much time " Val immediately jumped towards the tree, but immediately three arrows flew out of tree at a fast pace all targeting Val's vital points, but with ease Val passes through them unscathed " I don't care if you're hiding behind that tree I'll crush you and the tree together " He immediately did a quick side ways kick, using his heel to strike it, forming an arc, but to his suprise his leg passed through it, slinging a person out of it, landing back on the ground the tree disintegrated, with a confused expression he quickly looked at the person, his eyes widened in shock and amazement, what he had saw was something he had only heard in fairy tales and seen in picture books when he was still young, although he was living in a fantasy world, he took a step back in suprise as the person stood up, for a split second the moonlight illuminated the person face, the silvery glow revealed everything about the person, the long ears, the pale skin, everything, all leading to one thing an ' ELF ' Val's mouth was left wide open as he kept moving backwards, he was utterly stunned " what the fuck you looking at old man, never seen an elf before " the elf sneered as he immediately pointed his bow towards Val, but he wasn't holding any arrow, Val was confused on what the elf was about to do but he immediately sensed danger, noticing a lot of Mana was being sucked in towards him, an arrow began to form in his hand as he chanted a spell with his eyes closed, " this is bad no matter what I have to dodge this " Val told himself as the elf immediately opened his eyes, releasing the arrow, it turned into a huge lazer of light that obviously seemed unavoidable.
The damage of the arrow was destructive, destroying everything in it's path, as the dust settles Val immediately appeared behind the elf with his kunai in his hand and it's tip pointed at the elf's neck " that was a really dangerous attack there, I could have died " Val whispered into the elf's ear, startling him, the elf immediately shifts away from him with a suprised expression on his face, still shifting back, he mistakenly hits his head on a tree branch immediately knocking him out.
" What the, seriously? " Val sighed as he went closer to the elf's body and pulls his hair raising his head up " just like that, he fell unconscious....elves really have a weak body " Val said as he dropped the elf's head " anyways, that attack, I would've obviously died if I didn't disintegrate myself in the nick of time " Val sighed " but why do I feel like I'm forgetting something " Val wondered as his eyes widened in realization " aw shit, I totally forgot the Young master " he immediately began to walk away to go and look for zoi, before hearing a loud howl, with a disturbed expression he turned around and looked at the elf immediately letting out a loud tisk.
- MEANWHILE IN THE CAVE WHERE ZOI STAYED-
Zoi is calmly meditating in the cave sitting in a lotus position, with immense Mana being sucked into him, while the thunderous rain pattered down outside the cave.
While Zoi meditated in the cave, a monster crept up behind him. Though the monster was not revealed it's shadow hinted at the impending attack. Right as it was about to attack it's features were revealed, it was a huge purple bear, with scarlet red eyes, razor sharp teeth and incredibly horrible breath with its mouth wide open drool poured out of it's mouth foaming up, it came closer to zoi, about to bite his head off.
