Claude didn't have to accompany Eugene in his weird pre-paid task, but they were headed back to the Lunavida pack for it. He didn't even know what the elders thought of the matter involving him by now. Would they promote him some more because he could fight? Would they pick a fight with Len and his family instead? Claude could only wait for their decision.
That was why he roamed the Widow's Manor with a grocery list at hand. Most Omegas were putting up the Grashalm pack in their wide meadow. The matrons barely had enough hands to send out. Not everything was available in the manor.
With a sigh, Claude pocketed the list and looked at the meadow. He could see wolves moving about while looking at someone for instructions. He was about to leave when he heard a familiar yell. Claude turned to the meadow again and saw Eugene gesturing at the other wolves with his arms. They seemed to be rearranging objects for efficiency.
