Upon hearing Lin Daiyu say this, Rosen immediately asked, "What kind of task did the Celestial Court issue?"
"Oh, it seems there's an Ox Head Village that suddenly appeared overnight in a barren area to the east. Previously, not a blade of grass grew in that barren land, yet a village emerged overnight. The Jade Emperor suspects there's some demonic influence at work, especially since recent disappearances of villagers in the surrounding areas suggest a connection to this village."
Lin Daiyu conveyed the Jade Emperor's message to Rosen and the others.
"What, a demon-enveloped Ox Head Village really appeared, and the Jade Emperor isn't coming down to exterminate the demons himself?" Rosen was somewhat puzzled.
"That's because the Jade Emperor recently caught a cold and is worried about going out and having it worsen, so he's chosen to stay inside; otherwise, it wouldn't be your turn to act," Lin Daiyu explained.
