On October 10th, Japan time, in a sea area near Osaka.
The sun was fierce, the sea and sky reflected each other, but a deserted island on the sea was shrouded in bottomless darkness, as if God had neglected this island, thus casting a bleak cloud solely over it.
This is the habitat of the Light-Eating Bee tribe. Sunlight is the main nutritional source for the Bee Race, so during the day, their clan takes turns absorbing sunlight, as if holding some evil ritual.
As batch after batch of Bee Race took turns consuming the sunlight spilled over the island, the island had to remain engulfed in darkness for a long time. There wasn't even a trace of a gap; any sunlight that fell on the island was consumed by the Bee Race at the first moment.
So until nightfall, their feeding would only stop, and under such circumstances, only moonlight and artificial light could shine onto this island.
At this moment, at the center of the island, atop a steep mountain, hung a gigantic hive.
