The galloping Spirit Deer Valley was halted by the half bowl of pork leg rice in Zhang Ze's hand.
At least, it seemed that way.
Just as Spirit Deer Valley was about to hit Zhang Ze, it suddenly stopped moving, and the Golden Talisman Turtle Shell Array dissipated. The Thousand Mechanism Magical Artifact engine hub, glowing with a faint blue light, gently touched the bowl of rice in Zhang Ze's hand.
It was a gentle action, like clinking glasses with a friend.
But before Zhang Ze could figure out what had happened, he saw another meteor streak across the sky.
The 'meteor' landed. It wasn't an extraterrestrial visitor, but a group of Six Sects elders, each with a gray-faced expression, looking unfriendly.
The leader was recognized by Li Yueqi; it was Elder Lin from their own Beast Taming Sect.
Elder Lin was usually the most elegant, and the spirit beasts he tamed were all Immortal Cranes and Cloud Sparrows.
