The sea suddenly plunged into darkness.
A blaze of lights emanated from the island ahead, and two gigantic beams of light abruptly shot upwards, piercing the sky. Those beams of light were visible from afar. It must have been the light from two Lighthouses, guiding the ships navigating the night.
Looking across the scene, Gemini Island was structured in a somewhat peculiar manner. It is hard to imagine such an island existing in nature. It is composed of two islands that are nearly joined together. The entire island is similar to a fairly symmetrical circle, split in two down the middle, which also features a circular cavity in the center. This results in a straight waterway that bisects the whole island, with a massive circular inland sea at its center. This inland sea serves as a shared harbor for the two islands.
