At 4:21 AM, a suicide incident occurred in an apartment in the southern district of the shelter.
The deceased was a 34-year-old male. Neighbors, upon hearing the gunshot, immediately called the police. Upon arrival, the police found the body on the bed in the bedroom. There were no signs of forced entry or struggle in the room. It seemed that Mr. Duli had simply had enough of life in the shelter and decided to end it using the .45 caliber pistol left by his grandfather.
Such incidents are not uncommon in the shelter. Living underground for a long time often leads one to suddenly lose the courage to continue living at any given moment.
This matter wasn't widely publicized, and besides the neighbors in the apartment, not many would know about Duli's case.
