"I'm sure." The female sorcerer replied resolutely; she didn't want to lag behind.
"It's not that I don't want to give it to you, Teresa... but this kind of mark only becomes fully effective after having that kind of relationship with me. Otherwise, it has to be recast again and again." Laine shook his head: "It's not that I don't want to do that with you, but clearly, the time hasn't come yet. I can see that you're not ready either; let's talk about this later."
