So in the end, Lorenzo has changed since then; he's become more human. He won't grin and say "Hey, long time no see," relying on his thick skin to get by. He feels a bit of guilt and discomfort.
"Did she leave?" Lorenzo asked.
Well, there's no need for people to seek unhappiness themselves, if you can avoid it for a while, just do it.
"She left. Looks like she's gone on patrol," Pres said.
"Finally able to get up."
Lorenzo said as he stood up from the ground. He wasn't ready to face Eve yet, after almost killing her. In the past, being shameless made him indifferent, but now he felt somewhat 'guilty.'
Thinking about it made Lorenzo shiver.
Emotions do give people weaknesses. It's unimaginable if someone uses this guilt against him.
But just like tasting forbidden fruit, Lorenzo experienced the joy in it. With Lawrence dead, it's hard for him to strip away his emotions and become that cold weapon again.
