The nomination deadline is February 1st each year.
Afterwards, the Nobel Committee conducts a preliminary screening of the nominees and then submits the final candidates to the Nobel Assembly.
The Nobel Assembly discusses and votes on the achievements of the candidates, ultimately deciding the winner, and formally announcing it to the public.
This usually takes place in October each year.
