Crossing the small bridge, Xiao Lin stopped in his tracks, causing Elder Sun, who was following him, to become suspicious. All around were just ordinary concrete walls and floors, with nothing particularly special.

However, this trench didn't quite look like that. Beside the water trench were piles of excavated clay, some of which had already been tampered with, while others were still being processed. He reached out to pinch a bit of the grayish-white soil layer, brought it to his nose to sniff, then licked it with the tip of his tongue, expressing doubt.
