Chapter 751 - Chapter 704: Voting Dispute

The cabinet's resolution was put to the National Assembly for voting, which is now the main political process of the Victor Empire.

The cabinet can decide on general matters on its own, but once a cabinet resolution is formed, namely issuing new policies or laws and regulations, it needs to be reviewed by the National Assembly to determine whether it is approved.

Once a resolution is passed, it has legal effect and must be adhered to and executed.

Of course, if someone is determined to oppose it, it's not impossible to overturn a successfully voted resolution, but in that case, at least one-third of the members must jointly propose and obtain over 70% of the members voting in favor to overturn the existing resolution.

Relatively speaking, passing a resolution is simpler; a cabinet resolution or a proposal by over ten members can be put to vote, with more than half agreeing to pass it.

So, today's resolution vote made the Royalist Party exceedingly tense.
