Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 Long-Legged Liu Ru

Wang Yue's secret crush, Qin Mengya, lives near Greenland Plaza, so she arrived half an hour before them.

She had already changed into her martial arts uniform and was waiting for them in the reception hall of the Infinite Martial Arts Dojo.

As Meng Chuan and Wang Yue walked in, their vision was immediately filled with a striking sky blue.

Qin Mengya, wearing a blue Infinite Martial Arts training uniform, hopped over to them, and the loose martial arts uniform couldn't hide her graceful figure.

"Hey, fatso, you're really slow! Hello, this must be Brother Chuan, right?"

Qin Mengya tilted her head cutely and reached out her hand to Meng Chuan.

Brother Chuan's title as the "Child's Fist Grandmaster" was well-known in the school, making him somewhat of a celebrity there, so it was not surprising that Qin Mengya from the class next door recognized him.

As for Brother Chuan, it was a name Wang Yue taught her. Wang Yue often chatted with Qin Mengya, and whenever the conversation stalled, he'd use Meng Chuan to inject humor. It was a kind of superficial brotherly bond.

"Hello, Qin Mengya, I'm Meng Chuan."

Instead of stepping forward to shake her hand, Meng Chuan clasped his hands together and stayed where he was, then stood aside without saying more, surveying the surroundings of the Infinite Martial Arts Dojo.

Looking at the luxurious decorations inside the dojo, he couldn't help but think, "Martial Arts families sure are wealthy."

Meng Chuan had no intention of interacting with Qin Mengya. As good brothers, he wouldn't meddle with the woman his friend liked.

Moreover, his goal was to become a martial artist and continue climbing the ranks.

Although Wang Yue wasn't one to fuss, he was still a kid, not fully mature yet.

Why risk creating a rift with Wang Yue over Qin Mengya?

"Brother Chuan is quite retro, liking the clasped-hand salute."

Qin Mengya was not upset or surprised when Meng Chuan didn't come forward to shake her hand. Instead, she smiled gracefully, then went up to grab the chubby Wang Yue's hand and happily led him inside.

"You two hurry up and change, I'll wait for you outside the changing room. The new Teacher Liu is about to start the class, she's really pretty, you shouldn't miss it!"

Meng Chuan followed behind the two of them, Wang Yue being pushed by Qin Mengya, occasionally turning back, making strange faces at Meng Chuan, as if trying to prove something to him.

Seeing Wang Yue's lovestruck expression, Meng Chuan couldn't help but rub his forehead.

"This kid is hopeless, maybe the next time there's a parent-teacher meeting, I should suggest Wang Yue's dad open a second account."

...

Inside the changing room, Meng Chuan received a new Infinite Martial Arts Dojo training uniform, the same bright blue one Qin Mengya had worn, its material feeling very soft and fitting to the touch.

"No wonder each class costs a thousand; the training uniforms they provide are really upscale, much better than the school's uniforms."

After changing clothes, Meng Chuan headed to the Infinite Martial Arts Dojo's training ground, standing beside Wang Yue and Qin Mengya.

At the center of the training ground, Liu Ru wore a deep blue martial arts uniform different from the students', her refined appearance unadorned, and the martial arts uniform couldn't hide her long legs.

Liu Ru clasped her hands and said to everyone:

"Today is my third day at Infinite Martial Arts Dojo, and there are still many new faces I haven't seen before, so I'll introduce myself again."

"Hello everyone, I am Liu Ru, the new Xingyi instructor at the dojo and a named disciple of the dojo master, with a level of Qi Blood at the sixth pass,

proficient in the Pile Skill [Taiyi Three Talents Posture] and Fist Skill [Primordial Palm]. So I'm only slightly knowledgeable in the Elephant Form lineage, but you can come to me with questions about Xingyi."

After hearing Liu Ru's self-introduction, Meng Chuan was curious about one thing: Where is the dojo master? A sixth-pass instructor alone doesn't seem worth a thousand bucks per class.

As he thought about it, a middle-aged man dressed in a dark black robe walked in, with footsteps like a dragon's stride or a tiger's pace, emanating an indescribable aura of authority.

Standing beside Liu Ru with hands behind his back, he scanned the room with sharp eyes, causing everyone except Meng Chuan to immediately lower their heads.

The person was indeed the master of the Infinite Martial Arts Dojo.

[Qianyuan Thunder Strike·Luo Guanyun]!

"A new kid?"

Luo Guanyun looked at the only person daring to meet his gaze, which was Meng Chuan.

"Hello, Master, this is my first day here, I'm Meng Chuan."

Meng Chuan met the master's gaze, clasped his hands in salute, and stood up straight, neither arrogant nor humble.

A martial artist should have courage and be willing to recommend oneself. If you're scared of this and that, you might as well go home and farm rather than practice martial arts.

"Not bad, solid as a rock. Kid, since this is your first day, let me tell you, for every ten days you enroll, you can arrange one hour of a private session with me. For those private sessions, you need to make an appointment in advance with Liu Ru; she'll schedule it for you."

Luo Guanyun spoke with a Western Lu accent, adding extra emphasis.

After speaking with Meng Chuan, Luo Guanyun left with a student who had booked a private session earlier.

"Sixty sessions add up to sixty thousand, which means sixty grand for six hours of lessons?"

The earning power of a martial artist profoundly shocked Meng Chuan once more.

"Raise your hands if you still can't stand the Three Talents Posture or can stand but haven't gotten the hang of it yet."

Most people raised their hands, including Meng Chuan and Wang Yue, while Qin Mengya had already mastered the Three Talents Posture.

"Alright, the minority obeys the majority, so today we'll first lecture on Pile Skill. Those who have already mastered it can practice while listening to my lecture for new insights."

"First of all, let me tell everyone what Pile Skill is."

"Pile Skill is the foundation of martial arts cultivation. As the saying goes, 'Practicing martial arts without mastering Pile Skill is a waste of ten years.'

Our Infinite Martial Arts Dojo follows the Xingyi Sect martial arts and also practices Xingyi Pile Skill. All the Xingyi martial arts worldwide, even the real martial arts secrets, originate from the Xingyi Pile Skill—Taiyi Three Talents Posture."

"Today, I'll break down the basic stance of the Taiyi Three Talents Posture for beginners, and new students can come to me after class for full Pile Skill illustrations."

"From a broader perspective, the Three Talents Posture is about the integration of Heaven, Earth, and Man."

"In terms of individuals, 'Heaven' refers to the head, 'Earth' to the hands, and 'Man' to the feet—the unification of head, hands, and feet is known as the Three Body Posture. Thus, the Three Talents Posture is also called the Three Body Posture."

"When standing in the Three Talents Posture, two points must be noted—maintaining proper form with smooth Qi flow and focused inner concentration. Proper form and smooth Qi flow mean..."

Listening to Liu Ru's extensive explanation, some students who had never practiced the Three Talents Posture before, including Meng Chuan, felt a bit bewildered. These concepts were too profound, and they felt like they were listening to an ancient text before even beginning.

But Meng Chuan understood one principle—the foundation of all Xingyi martial arts is the [Taiyi Three Talents Posture], so he quickly raised his hand to interrupt Liu Ru.

"Teacher Liu, does the 'National Obligation Basic Boxing' belong to the Xingyi martial arts?"

Upon hearing Meng Chuan's question, many people in the room cast curious glances. They didn't expect someone to ask about the Child's Fist, and Qin Mengya, who was familiar with Meng Chuan, covered her mouth and couldn't stop giggling.
