Chu Ge stood dumbfounded at the door, watching He Qing brush past him toward the bathroom. He then turned to look at Qin Ruojing, who was rummaging through the cabinet for a set of beddings.
"Come over and help me."
Qin Ruojing's voice carried over. Chu Ge, still pondering where he would be staying tonight, only vaguely caught that Qin Ruojing had said something but didn't hear clearly what it was.
Actually, Chu Ge had pretty good hearing; it was just that his mind was a complete mess at the moment, as chaotic as could be. So even if he heard Qin Ruojing's voice, he doubted his ears.
Chu Ge blinked a few times, then finally looked over at Qin Ruojing, dumbfounded, and asked, "What?"
"I said, come help me."
Qin Ruojing took out a clean set of bed sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcase sets from the cabinet, hugged them to her chest, and walked straight toward him.
