The whole group was staring at her nervously. Five minutes passed, and seeing that Shi Miaomiao hadn't changed at all, Luo Chao's expression grew somewhat uneasy.
Could the potion not be working? Luo Chao thought to himself, wondering why he couldn't even see a pained expression. He remembered how he'd felt like he was dying back then from a headache.
The others were both nervous and expectant, completely clueless about the intricacies, thinking it was supposed to be this way.
Unbeknownst to them, another ten minutes passed, and Shi Miaomiao finally started to break out in a slight sweat. Her snow-white face flushed, and her breathing became slightly rapid.
With that, Luo Chao finally felt relieved.
"Whoa, she's transforming, she's transforming," Shanpao shouted, pointing at Shi Miaomiao's fingernails. "Look, Miaojie's nails are growing longer."
The crowd looked over upon hearing this and indeed noticed the nails were starting to change noticeably.
