Ch 92 The candy prince part 5
When shinya had looked at the screen again it was showing the tape of augustus and the aftermath of what had happened because of his decisions.
When Augustus woke up once again he was still in the middle of the desert nothing had happened to him suprisingly this is not what he thought wouldve happened.
He thought for sure he wouldve been ravaged or eaten by some sort of animal or creature that enhabitated the desert or the forest around the desert even though the desert was so large and so vast.
So Augustus was left there all alone but he knew he had to move he wasnt sure at all as to what had actually happened to the kingdom and the people inside of the kingdom he could only hope to wonder what the shadow like figures had actually done with anybody.
As Augustus walked across the desert and with no way of knowing wich direction he should take or where he should actually go too he arrived eventually somewhere he was all too familiar with.
Or atleast that what he thought he saw but he saw something completely different.
He saw fire.
An all consuming fire.
A fire so hot a fire so full of rage and terror and huge.
Sparks that clearly could be seen going up to the stars.
The fire burned with extreme heat and significance as to show something.
The fire was all over the market.
The only place that augustus had ever known that wasnt the castle the fire was all over the market.
It made him feel some type of way a type of dissasociation that he had never actually felt before it made him feel strange.
He wasnt sure how he should actually feel about something like this i mean this was a place he had only ever visited once yet it gave him such a positive impact on who he was and showed him just what the world was capable of.
He looked around more running all across the outskirts of the market trying to see if he could break in and see if theyre was somewhere where there was not fire but it was to no avail.
The fire encapsulated the whole area.
More scary than just the huge flames or the buildings burning the wood creating an ash smell from it all falling down huge buildings and markets falling down peoples flags and books and several other accomidities all burned up into smithereens.
Was the people.
The sounds of burning flesh the smell of burning flesh the death defying screams heard from all over the market that Augustus could hear he could only wonder the truth about it and just why would these people cause this.
Hearing children and mothers voices inside of the market crying begging for help it caused tears to Augustus eyes.
"Help anyone please i need help me and my daughter please shes only a year old even if you cant save me save her i beg of you!"Said a woman with fire all ovber her rags for clothes.
Augustus saw this there was people born here people grew up their entire life inside of this market in the slums inbetween the buildings in small huts in corners of the markets all of it gone up into flames and complete oblivion.
Augustus could see the pain and anguish across the face of the mother and hearing the child cry Augustus could only hold back his tears knowing if he went in there to help the mother he himself would be dead too he knew the truth of the situation.
He knew if he tried to go in there he would end up just like the rest of them.
A soon to be rotting corpse with nothing left to show for his life.
Augustus couldnt do anything nd he knew this as he fell to his knees at the entrance of the market just watching the people on fire have terrible horrible absolutely death inducing screams it only made him grow colder inside of his heart. It only made him push away the society that had made him grow up so fast.
"Is this your wish God? Is this what you truly wanted?"Said Augustus out loud as he could do nothing but sit there on his knees with tears overflowing from the corners of his eyes and a massive frown to go with it.
Just where could Augustus go from here just where could the future lie he could only wait and tell but this was not all.
There was one more important place extremely important place that was here. The castle.
The place that he had called home basically his whole life he had to get to it he had to know what had happened to the castle.Was it safe? Where there people also there at the castle? Was it on fire like the market? Just what had happened?
A million thoughts raced inside of Augustus mind as he began to run towards the castle knowing it would take him a while before he reached it he knew the truth deep inside of his mind even though he didnt want to face it he didnt want to say it or achknowledge it.
He knew what had happened here at the market most likely happened at the castle too.
He knew it in the back of his mind but he continued to ignore the awnser to that question as he ran towards the castle only hoping for a positive solution to this completely negative outcome he saw before him.
"So thats it thats the end of it again? Im left on a massive cliffhanger as to what had actually happened to the king and the other people inside the castle all i know is that hes running towards it wow thats great."Said shinya sacrastically.
Lula just stood there not even saying anything.
"You know usually im not a fan of things like this but i can only really wonder where this is going you know."Said Shinya.
So with one final glance at the screen before looking away shinya knew he could only wait in silence and darkness before the next video could play.
Here shinya was trapped completely with nowhere to go.
