Chapter 97: The Awakening of Power – Shakti Vidya Begins

In the grand coliseum-shaped training grounds of Mahishmati, surrounded by intricately carved pillars and lined with obsidian stone, stood the hundred and five Kuru princes. Behind them stood their assigned gurus—Arun, Varun, Dhoomketu, and others. They all gathered under the order of Rudra for today marked the beginning of a new path—a journey to mastery in Shakti Vidya.

The princes stood in lines wearing light combat gear made from celestial silk and infused hide flexible yet strong. Their faces reflected excitement and anxiety. The awakening of their siddhis had been overwhelming in itself but now they would learn to wield those gifts properly.

Rudra stood on the elevated platform at the head of the field looking over the gathered youth. Clad in a robe dyed in deep indigo with gold embroidery, his long hair tied behind, he radiated calm authority.

"Today," he said in a clear, calm tone, "you begin the most important phase of your life as warriors. Shakti Vidya is not merely a technique—it is the art of synchronizing Prana Urja, your Siddhi, your Weapon, and your Intent into one. Each breath you take is energy. Each thought you think is potential. Each strike you make should carry both."

He gestured to the gurus.

"Your mentors will teach you the foundations, but your path is yours alone."

With that, he nodded and descended the platform.

The Division of Training

As per Rudra's earlier arrangement, each group was already well formed:

Varun led the group of strong attack-type siddhi wielders. The hulking kauravas with Titan's Embrace followed him. Their giant forms towered over others and their training required a different intensity. Varun with his Vibration Control Siddhi demonstrated how focused pulses of Prana could destroy solid rock and stun an enemy from within.

Arun his twin took charge of the agile warriors. With his Shockwave Siddhi and mastery over agile mace combat, he taught the use of fluid movements, momentum manipulation, and prana-enhanced reflexes.

Dhoomketu trained fiercest individuals those who awakened primal powers. With his Four-Armed Sun Ape Siddhi, he led the others into hand-to-hand combat drills, body reinforcement, and channeling primal rage through control.

Meanwhile, the Pandavas were each under unique guidance:

Yudhishthir, now a disciple of Rudra himself was learning the mental discipline required to master his Karmafal Dand Siddhi.

Arjun already under Karna was refining his archery while learning to direct Prana through the Eyes of Thunder King.

Sahadeva training under Vijay Raj Pratap was awakening the secret techniques of the Tree of Life and its miraculous healing power.

Varun's Camp

"Use your breath! Tighten your stance! Channel your energy from your feet to your core!"

Varun roared, his own mace vibrating at a high pitch as it shattered a mountain-shaped obsidian boulder.

Duryodhan, towering at ten meters, tightened his Vajra Bones and muscles and struck the earth with his Vajra Gada. A ripple surged forward, causing the very ground to quake. The others followed.

Rudra watched from a distance, noting how each prince adapted differently. Dushasan's strikes had more rhythm than power; Vikarna was still hesitant.

"You must align your Siddhi with Prana, then channel it through your weapon. Otherwise, it's brute strength—nothing more" Varun reminded them.

---

Arun's group was a whirlwind of movement. The princes jumped across pillars, twirling their weapons midair, and unleashed shockwave bursts that cracked stone walls.

Arun moved like a gust of wind dodging every attack his mace dancing like a lightning bolt.

"You're fast," he said to a promising prince, "but speed without Intent is meaningless. Prana without Control is a wasted current. Let me show you."

He flicked his mace toward a dummy and a delayed shockwave burst from the air, splintering it from within.

---

Dhoomketu's Camp

Here, the sound was of fists meeting flesh, of roars and war cries.

Dhoomketu sparred barehanded against three princes. His Four-Armed Sun Ape form glowed behind him like a burning sun.

"Your Siddhi is wild. But you are not! Learn to command it—not cage it. Monsters that rage are slain and a Monster that think… rule!"

Vikarna, his Holy Flame Eagle Siddhi flaring around him, let out a mighty cry as his fists ignited. With each punch, he now burned brighter.

"Good!" shouted Dhoomketu. "You're not weak—you were waiting to believe in yourself!"

---

Meanwhile… at Rudra's side

Yudhishthir walked beside his Guru.

"Gurudev" he asked "how long does it take to master Prana control?"

Rudra smiled. "Time is a tricky concept. For one, it takes a lifetime. For another, a moment of clarity. But you Yudhishthir must not rush. You wield Judgment itself. The spear you hold doesn't merely pierce, it judges. Mastering it requires your heart to become like still water."

"I… will try, Gurudev."

"You have to do more than a try. You have to transform."

Rudra raised his hand. Energy burst from it in waves. "Now, summon your Prana. Let it guide your spear. Not just your strength, your intention."

As Yudhishthir thrust his Karmafal Dand into the air, it shimmered in a radiant light, its tip vibrating with divine rhythm.

---

In the center of the field, all princes were summoned.

Rudra addressed them again.

"What you've begun today is merely the foundation. Once your Prana aligns with your Weapon and Siddhi, you will move onto the next phase: Divine Intent Summoning."

A wave of energy pulsed from his hand. In the sky, an illusion of a great divine Astra appeared— Raudraastra, its power radiating.

"When you fully master this art, you will learn how to resist even divine Astras, or forge your own techniques inspired by them. But remember—mastery comes not through brute effort alone, but through balance."

He looked at Karna, standing nearby.

"Karna has already reached the threshold of summoning his personal Astra through Shakti Vidya. So can you all—if you work not just your bodies, but your hearts."

The trio of mentors stepped forward now.

Varun spoke, "For those under me, a Shakti Scroll awaits. Let your blood awaken it once you master your Siddhi. Together, your attack can shake the heavens."

Arun added, "Agile ones—your combined moves will be about overwhelming speed and control. Like wind and thunder."

Dhoomketu roared, "Monsters—when you master your primal spirit, you will move like one body. An army of gods in monster skin!"

The young warriors cheered.

That Evening

Under a sky painted in shades of amber and crimson, Rudra walked with Suresh Pratap.

"They have potential," Suresh said.

"Yes," Rudra replied. "But they need proper guidance. No warrior becomes great alone. They are not just princes—they are legacies in the making."
