Xingxing imagined the scene of the Imperial Physician taking the pulse of a wasp.
Just by pressing down with his big hand, the wasp would lose a limb on the spot. This wasn't treatment; it was clearly aiming for the wasp's life.
Pulsing the wasp was impossible, and an autopsy was even more so.
Xingxing grinned, showing her white teeth, as she cheerfully followed behind Su Jin.
Su Jin didn't head straight for the front courtyard but instead went to her bamboo house.
Xingxing followed in a daze, not knowing what Su Jin intended to do back in the bamboo house.
Once inside, Su Jin opened her medicine chest, packed with numerous bottles and jars.
Su Jin picked a bottle.
Xingxing's eyes lit up, "Miss, are these all poisons?"
"Don't steal any," Su Jin warned.
"If you steal, you'll get your hand chopped off. I know," Xingxing pouted.
Su Jin picked up another bottle, poured out an antidote, took one pill for herself, and gave one to Xingxing.
