Behind the cabin, there is a warm spring, steaming hot. The pool is not very large, and she can't tell what material the stones piling up the pool are made of, only that they have been smoothed by the spring over time.
"Please wash up well, miss. The gentleman is in the room upstairs, you can go find him once you're done," the elderly woman pointed to a large tray on the rocks with a clean white bathrobe on it.
Avery Jane looked around, "But this is outdoors."
She wasn't an exhibitionist; she wasn't accustomed to bathing in places like this.
"Miss can rest assured, no one comes here except for me and the gentleman," the old woman said, not even glancing at her, as if she didn't exist, as if she was speaking to the air.
