The brief encounter with Ava Walker at the meeting room door didn't affect Charlotte Miller's mood at all; these things were trivial, even if the elders of the Hallow Family were back, she believed they wouldn't say anything too troubling.
In fact, the real decision-maker in the Hallow Family is Atlas Hallow.
And Charlotte is confident that, at least for now, Atlas Hallow is on her side. If he finds it too troubling, going back to live with the Hallow Family is an option, but what does any of this have to do with Ava Walker? What gives her the right to meddle?
Actually, sometimes Charlotte has a temper too. If others are good to her, Charlotte is the type who would give her all, but if others are bad to her, repeatedly and with hostility, she won't be accommodating.
