She hugged the flowers, happily sniffing them, "Thank you!"
Han Dong was stunned. Just a bunch of flowers? Was it worth being so happy?
"Do you like roses?"
"No, actually." His wife laughed, "I was thinking that today is my Gregorian birthday. Can you remember that before getting married, I always celebrated my birthdays according to the Gregorian calendar? My mom just called and asked if I celebrated, and I said you'd buy me flowers! I'm going to take pictures and post them on Moments!" She said and then ran off, as delighted as a little bird.
Only then did Han Dong realize that he hadn't been treating his wife very well, even though he seemed to care and hadn't cheated. But what does his wife want? He didn't know. For instance, her birthday habits are entirely different from his. Yet, all these years, she was too embarrassed to say. Han Dong decided to reflect on himself.
