Qu Chaozong raised his eyebrow, laughed, understanding the "girlfriend" Shi Yang was referring to were good women other than Zhang Xin.
"If it weren't for you always wanting to switch partners, with me being busy like a dog every day, maybe there'd already be kids crawling around now."
Shi Yang chuckled, kicked him: "Get lost! Don't blame this on me."
The taxi arrived, Shi Yang, wearing little, got in first, while Qu Chaozong hailed another one shortly after. Leaning against the warm seat, he soon became drowsy.
"Sir? Sir! We're here!"
Qu Chaozong groggily woke up, disoriented, becoming aware they had arrived.
He paid the fare, got out of the car, the cold wind making his scalp feel icy. Instinctively, he shrank his neck, shivering from the sudden change in temperature, instantly waking him up.
As he closed the car door, the taxi sped off, and just as Qu Chaozong was about to leave, he suddenly realized his leg was numb.
