Jiang Xin was vomiting profusely in the bathroom early in the morning.
Qin Dazhuang was soothing his wife's back while handing Jiang Xin a cup of warm water.
"Honey, what's wrong? Did you eat something dirty yesterday?"
Jiang Xin held her chest, clearly unable to vomit anything more, yet her heart continued to feel nauseated.
She didn't know what was wrong with her; it seemed like she had been like this for several days, but today was the worst.
Could she have some illness?
"I ate the same as you all last night: millet porridge, buns, and vegetables, and none of you are sick. I probably shouldn't be either. I need to get my health checked; I've been feeling really uncomfortable these past few days, always wanting to vomit and unable to eat."
As she finished speaking, Jiang Xin and Qin Dazhuang exchanged a glance.
They were an old married couple, having had two daughters before, and this situation almost exactly resembled when she was pregnant before.
