A man slowly opened his eyes to look the surroundings his lower body was completely submerged in what seemed to be a mixture of ice and a dark material he did not know.His arms were suspended above him and spread wide also stuck in the same material. He moved his eyes left and right only to see a barren frozen waste land outside the cave he was currently trapped in.
He tried to recall how he had arrived there but all he got was a blurry flash of memories about people burning in a lava lake.what surprised him though was the lack of feeling on any organ of his it was almost like all his senses were numb yet still functional.
With a mighty pull he yanked his hand out of the ice above shattering it he did the same with his other hand before he pulled himself free from the ice beneath him.He looked at himself completely mystified since what he did was not a normal human feat. He quickly started to look around but the frozen waste land was silent as a graveyard.
"Just where exactly am I "he thought to himself as he looked around . Sitting down in a of the cave he tried his best to recall how it had all come to be but he was hit with a splitting migraine causing him to clutch his head in pain as random memories flashed across his mind .
After the head ache subsided he stood transfixed on the spot contemplating his next move as he did not know the whereabouts of his location .''I guess I should explore this place and find out what it is,'' he thought to himself while getting up.His body felt more unnatural than before and a faint blue hue was emanating from his core. He examined this light which seemed to be dancing around him before he slowly walked out of the cave. The caves passage was filled with jaggered ice spikes that had a soft dark blue colour.
'' What a weird place this is,'' he said to himself . He could feel an ethereal energy slowly flowing inside him but he could not trace it's origin or it's purpose. Slowly he continued to climb out of the cave and he soon came upon a devastating sight . Before him was a frozen desolate and deserted wasteland that was buried in deep blue frozen lumps of ice.
The sky held a dull hazy hue which was a mixture of dark blue and ash grey. As weirdly as the man felt in his new body he could feel his surroundings with a heightened sense almost as if he was part of him or was it that he was part of it he couldn't clearly tell. As he glanced around at his surroundings pieces of memories seemed to spam his mind before disappearing into oblivion as he fell to the ground while clutching his head .'' I need to find a way out of this place ,'' he says to himself while rising.
