The blanket covered them up to her shoulders while his other arm was protectively wrapped around her waist, holding her close.
Their eyes turned to the door as it opened wider.

Zi Zhen's gaze flickered briefly from his mother to his father. His expression was mostly impassive, but there was a flicker of relief in his dark eyes seeing his mother leaning safely in Zhi Hao's arms.
