Chazz said as he drew his card, "I will start by activating the spell The Sacred Waters in the Sky; this card allows me to activate the field spell The Sanctuary in the Sky from my deck and then add one monster that mentions it to my hand." After Chazz said this, the field transformed into a marble temple that made it look like we were in the sky. "Now I will activate the spell Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen; this continuous spell allows me to special summon one fairy monster from my hand as long as there are no monsters on my field. Now come out The Agent of Wisdom—Mercury in defense mode." After saying that, an angel with green wings and skin appeared on the field, wrapping its wings around itself. "Next, I will summon Zeradias, the Herald of Heaven, in attack mode." With a flash of light, an angel wearing a green hood and wings appeared, wielding a bident. "And I end my turn," chazz said with bravado.

After drawing my three cards, I sent two of my weaker monsters to the graveyard and continued. "I will start by normal summoning Dark Lucius LV4. After placing the card, a gray-skinned humanoid monster with spikes on its back appeared. "Next, I will activate the spell Foolish Burial; this spell allows me to send one monster from my deck to the graveyard." after saying this, I send the last high-level monster in my deck to the grave; everything is already in place to finish this in a turn or two. "Now I will activate the spell Stop Defense targeting your The Agent of Wisdom—Mercury and forcing it into attack mode."
"Now Dark Lucius LV4 attacks Agent of Wisdom —Mercury!" at my command, he lunged forward with a punch covered in purple energy, destroying the green angel.
"Next I set one card face down and end my turn." I said with a smile. "Fine, if all you can do is destroy one monster, you don't deserve to face me so I will make this game quick. I draw!" chazz said it with pride. "I will start by special summoning The Agent of Entropy—Uranus: as long as I control sanctuary in the sky, I can special summon it without tributing. Next, I will activate the equip spell Cestus of Dagla and equip it to The Agent of Entropy—Uranus, and it gains 500 attack points, and I gain life points based on the damage it deals. Now I will attack your monster with Zeradias, the Herald of Heaven!" At his command, Zeradias lunged forward and attempted to stab Dark Lucius.
"Not so fast. I activate a monster effect in my hand, Dark Spirit of Banishment when you attack, I can send this monster from my hand or field to the graveyard and special summon one level 8 monster from my graveyard but negate its effects and force your monster to attack it." i said this before summoning a monster from my graveyard. "Now come forth, Invader of Darkness!" after saying this, there was a swirl of darkness as he appeared on the field and the angel was obliterated by a beam of gold energy.
"Fine, I end my turn." chazz said it in anger. 'Wow, he is dumb for not attacking with his other monster all well,' i thought as I drew my card for the turn. "Now Dark Lucius LV4 effect activates because he destroyed a monster last turn; he will evolve into Dark Lucius LV6." [Dark Lucius LV6 atk: 1,700 def: 600]
"Now I activate the face-down card, The Eye of Truth. This card forces you to keep your hand revealed for as long as it is on the field, but you gain 1,000 life points during your standby phase for every spell in your hand." After I said this, a couple of holograms appeared above Chazz, displaying the cards in his hand. "Now I activate the spell 'Monster Reborn' and bring out one of the monsters I discarded during my first turn; come on out, The Suppression Pluto!" at my command, a swirl of black and purple miasma appeared on the field before coming together, forming Pluto.
"Now I will use Pluto's effect. I declare one card in your hand and if it's in your hand I can chose one of two effects ● Take control of 1 monster your opponent controls.
● Destroy 1 Spell/Trap your opponent controls, then you can Set the destroyed Spell/Trap on your field. Now I will declare Mystical Shine Ball and because it is in your hand, I will choose to use the second option and destroy your field spell and set it." I said. After activating his effect, Pluto's many red eyes started to glow as he launched his spiked tentacles into the walls and infected them with a black ichor before they burst into a puff of smoke and debris.
But as soon as the field spell was destroyed, Chazz's Zeradias, Herald of Heaven, also burst in an explosion of white light. "Now, Pluto, attack The Agent of Entropy—Uranus!" at my command, Pluto lunged across the field and bisected his angel in one swift strike of his claws. I said with a smirk.

I mocked him, making him even angrier. "Shut up! I don't need any more life points to win this!" he said with absolute hatred. "Who are you trying to fool? "I can see every card in your hand, and none of them can even stop you from losing on my next turn." I said with a mocking grin.
"I will use the effect of my Master Hyperion to banish one of the Agent monsters from my graveyard and specially summon him to my field!" after a small light show, the monster appeared on the field. Sorry to do this to you, Chazz, but he won't be staying. I activate my face-down trap card, Bottomless Trap Hole, and he is destroyed and banished." After I said this, a massive hole appeared beneath the large red angel, which was then sucked down into the endless darkness.
"Fine, I set one monster face down and end my turn." Chazz said in an almost hollow tone.
"I draw well; this is the end, Chazz. I will declare The Agent of Mystery—Earth. And use Pluto's first effect and take control of your face-down monster and flip it face up. After saying these words, a glowing orb made of glass appeared on my field. "Now I will normal summon one of my friends, Doomdog Octhros. Now, Octhros, shine ball, and Dark Lucius LV6 finish this duel!" After giving the command, Doomdog Octhros, Shine Ball, and Dark Lucius LV6 all released a barrage of energy attacks at Chazz. After Chazz's life points hit zero and the duel disks deactivated, he walked away silently with his head down, ignoring Jaden's attempt to cheer him up.
"Well, everyone, that was the end of the first round; we will start the final three-way duel in just a few minutes." Dr. Crowler announced, trying to hide his anger at Chazz's loss.
