The crowd was on their feet. Phones were out. Chants had started.

Brick Bronson, the BWF Champion, looked like he'd seen a ghost. Sweat dripped from his buzzcut. His chest rose and fell like a man realizing his nightmare was real.
"This kid's not normal," he muttered.
The Comeback Begins
Malik stumbled to his feet, arms shaking, blood on his lipโbut eyes locked on Bronson.
Bronson charged again.
Malik ducked the clothesline.
BOOM โ spinning elbow!
Bronson wobbled.
Malik hit the ropesโ

Bronson staggered to one knee!
The crowd roared!
Malik pointed to the sky.

He soared off the ropesโ

But now he was struggling.

Confetti rained down.
The crowd exploded.
Commentators were screaming.

Malik stood over Bronson, the BWF Championship handed to him by the stunned referee.
He didn't raise it right away.
Instead, he leaned down and whispered:

Then he held the title high.
