Walking to a fairly deserted place in the city, I stopped at some large warehouses. They were fenced and closed, but no one was guarding the place, I had taken care of that long ago. I don't need extra eyes and ears, the cameras and the new security system are enough... All these warehouses belonged to my company and there was some equipment stored here. There are no guards here, because the things stored inside are not very valuable, and not many people know about the warehouses. They are not needed for storage... A place without people, hidden from view, just right for a secret base. I've long since moved everything from my home and set it up here...

As I approached the large entrance gate, it automatically swung open, making a nice, soft sound. Thanks to the suit, I could send a remote signal and not have to worry about things like manual opening, which was very convenient. The locks everywhere were electronic, so I could open everything here remotely. If someone cut the power all the locks and doors would automatically lock. There's a backup generator that will last for a long time, so there's no need to worry about break-ins. Hartley and I have installed a pretty good security system, so even if someone tries to break in here, I will arrive very quickly and punish the intruder. Even the Clock King or Felicity can't hack the security system, and there aren't many people with better skills on the planet. I doubt they'll want to come in here, and even if they do, they'll run into me. It can't be infiltrated from the outside, like I've done in the past with the Star Labs computer or the Arrow base computer. They used to have mediocre defenses, no worse than what the cops have. It was easy for me to break them, but things are different now. In the last six months, Star Labs has changed their security system dramatically, and it's impossible to get in from the outside. In order to have direct access to their main computer again, I had to sneak into Star Labs, changing my appearance to that of Cisko, and enter a couple of programs into their computer. Same situation with the Arrow team, looks like Felicity finally decided to get smart and protect herself. I think it's because of the Watcher, he, like me, had no problem breaking their system and did major damage. I'm glad the girl learned her lesson, although that's the problem for me. Now I can't know what's going on with Oliver's team. Without infiltrating their base as well as Star Labs, I just can't hack in and install a program on their computer. I wasn't really interested in what they were up to, but I could use the extra information. Next time I'm in Star City, I should pay them a visit.

It's almost the same at my base, people from the outside can't get in, and if they try to get in here, I'll come and punish them quickly. It's almost impossible to get in unnoticed, and that "almost" is so unlikely that it's not even worth considering.

Opening the second door, which was already armored, I entered the warehouse and then headed for the stairs leading to the basement. As soon as I stepped on the stairs, my suit transmitted an intrusion signal, there would be a few more, it was normal. I'm the only one with access to the base, but even with my presence, the system notifies me immediately. I'd hate for this place to be discovered. The good thing was that even if the intruders reached here without my knowledge, they couldn't go any further. I would immediately get a signal of their trespassing and come immediately. The signal sensors are simply impossible to detect, only I know about them. Unless you have Hartley-like abilities, you can't hear the signal. Even I can barely hear it, and I have to give credit to my enhanced hearing and the Blower's ability, but it's impossible for ordinary people.

After going through another door that required not only a signal but also retinal prints, I finally entered the base. The basement was very large, it could be considered a real bomb shelter, which it had been in the past. Now it had everything I needed for life and for my work. Two laboratories with advanced equipment, mostly for biochemistry and genetics. I wanted to study meta-humans, and myself, so the labs were essential. Next was a small prison for meta-humans, with cells made from blueprints I'd gotten from Star Labs. There were only three of them, I don't think I'd need any more. It took a lot of money for the equipment to build them, but I think it was worth it. They were a little larger than Star Labs, since I planned to keep the prisoners mostly unconscious. So each cell contained a bed and an IV. The glass was changed too, so if they did wake up they wouldn't be able to see anything outside. Like the original cells, there was a gas function here to render the prisoners unconscious. They used nitrous oxide with oxygen and carbon dioxide, and I didn't change anything. I had an idea for Xenon anesthesia, but it's too expensive for ordinary meta people.

In the middle of the hall was the center of the base, it was here that the main computer and several monitors for displaying information were located. They were active even now, it was pointless to turn them off. One monitor was responsible for the security of the building and displayed data from the cameras. The cameras were of course not simple, any movement was immediately recorded. Of course, there was no alarm, but if the object went far enough into the forbidden territory, a signal was sent to me. The next monitor recorded my state in the suit, it became active only when I put it on. I don't know why I put it on, because no one will be watching me, but I decided to do it, maybe it will come in handy someday. The rest of the monitors were mostly idle, but if I need them, I'll use them too.

A little further from the center of the room was a large booth with several shelves. My suit wasn't like Barry's or Oliver's, so it couldn't be put on a mannequin, so I set up some shelves.

Throwing Roshtayn to the floor, I quickly removed the suit and put all the parts in their proper places. I put the blade in its designated place. It looked impressive, just the kind of thing I'd wanted when I'd made my first base. Even though it was a temporary one, I had already planned what my main base would look like. Of course, the costume I planned was a little different, so the booth is also different from what I had in mind.
