Chapter 218 - So... why aren't you leaving!?

Some time after the tripartite summit concluded, the students of Kuoh Academy ended their forced vacation and returned to their normal classes.

As for Rias and the others, they were naturally fulfilling their duties as students. Even so, the Underworld, Heaven, and the Grigori were now in an unprecedented state of readiness due to the emergence of Khaos Brigade.

However, for the time being, it wasn't the young people's turn to worry about such grand affairs; they only needed to focus on their current responsibilities.

About a week later, a visitor arrived at ORC.

"Azazel? Have you finished dealing with the issues among the Fallen Angels already? Do you really have the free time to hang around Kuoh Academy?"

Roy smiled as he looked at Azazel, who was sitting comfortably at Rias's desk. It seemed he had been there for a while, waiting for the group to finish their afternoon classes.

"With Baraqiel helping out, things are fine. His aptitude for administrative affairs is much better than mine, anyway. Since I've already planned to resign, this is just a way for him to adapt to life as the Governor general in advance," Azazel said, leaning back in the chair with a lazy expression.

Among the three factions, quite a few members had defected to the Khaos Brigade, and the Fallen Angels were no exception.

However, compared to the Devils, the number of rebels on Azazel's side was much smaller. The vast majority of Fallen Angels deeply respected and worshipped him.

This was unlike the Old Satan Faction, whose members were former rulers and still had a large following. Having been defeated by Sirzechs and the current Maou, they harbored deep resentment, constantly dreaming of overthrowing the current administration to restore their former glory.

As long as Azazel remained alive and leading, the Fallen Angels wouldn't face nearly as much internal turmoil.

"I came here today to bring you these," Azazel said with a smile. He waved his hand over the table, and three bottles of clear liquid appeared.

"Already finished?" Roy looked at the bottles with mild surprise.

These were the all-purpose healing potions, demonic power recovery potions, and stamina recovery potions that Azazel had been working on day and night. This was the first batch of finished products.

"Mhm," Azazel nodded. "However, they can only be considered semi finished. The effects are still significantly weaker than the ones you gave me. Want to try them?"

Roy stepped forward, picked up one of the bottles, opened the lid, and took a sip to carefully gauge the effect.

"It's only about half as effective as the original version," Roy noted.

"Yeah, time was short. For now, we can only achieve half the potency," Azazel explained. "But even so, they're ready for practical use."

...

The Khaos Brigade had gradually begun to move on a large scale. Within just a week, the three factions had clashed with them several times, and the front-line soldiers were in desperate need of healing items.

The Fallen Angels were not only manufacturing recovery potions but also searching the world for Sacred Gears with healing abilities, such as Twilight Healing.

Even if the potion's effect was halved, deploying it on the battlefield would reduce casualties beyond imagination. However, it was impossible to simply give away potions that required so much effort; the Fallen Angels, Gremory clan, and Phenex clan had to maintain a sustainable business.

"In short, the future research direction is reducing costs while improving the effects," Azazel said with a grin.

Roy didn't plan to intervene in that; he was happy to leave those logistics to Azazel.

"So... why aren't you leaving?" Roy raised an eyebrow, noticing that the other man didn't seem inclined to get out of the seat.

"Oh? Why should I be in such a hurry?" Azazel asked, sipping tea with a smirk.

"Having You just sitting here makes everyone else very uncomfortable," Roy said bluntly.

"I don't see you looking uncomfortable at all..." Azazel glanced at Roy before shifting his gaze to Rias and the others, who did indeed look a little nervous.

"I forgot to tell you. I'll be staying here in Kuoh Town for a while. I'm going to train Rias Gremory's peerage." Azazel dropped the bombshell casually.

"What?" Rias stood up, shocked.

"Lord Azazel, are you serious? You want to train President Rias's peerage?" Ravel asked in surprise.

"Rias's peerage has great potential. Any one of them would be considered an elite elsewhere, and they have Roy leading them," Azazel explained.

"I discussed it with Sirzechs. You guys will likely be regarded as a primary deterrent force for the three factions in the future. Therefore, you must increase your strength as quickly as possible."

"It was my brother's decision?" Rias asked softly.

"That's right. Sirzechs asked me to come her and teach you for a while," Azazel admitted frankly.

"You're here to teach Rias and the others, but what about your potion research?" Roy asked.

"The research is on the right track. My subordinates aren't useless; their abilities aren't much lower than mine. Even if I'm not around, they can continue the work," Azazel shrugged.

"Besides, I haven't slept well in ages. I'm treating this as a vacation."
