CHAPTER 26.5 - Desmolfer.

In a gloomy forest, an important meeting was taking place. The twisted trees seemed to stretch toward the sky, and hundreds of moving faces screaming in pain could be seen carved into their trunks. The ground was covered with skeletons that glowed faintly under the dim moonlight. Bones crunched beneath every step God took as he walked toward "her." The air was thick, heavy with the stench of rot.

God strode forward confidently toward a woman who awaited him seated on a throne made of human eyes. The eyes, still alive, kept moving, looking in every direction, as if trapped in eternal suffering—and considering they were in Hell, that was indeed their eternal punishment.

Hell, the worst place you could ever find yourself in. Yet God showed no fear, not even a hint of apprehension. The atmosphere was terrifying, yes, but to him it was nothing special—just another attempt by that woman to look intimidating.

Starving dogs devoured the rotting remains of men, their growls mixing with the pained moans of tormented souls. Worms crawled over lifeless bodies while dried blood stained the ground like a macabre carpet. Men hung from tree branches. People were being torn apart by whips. And in one corner, Incubi and Succubi raped the damned souls, their perverse laughter filling the air.

The place was horrible in every possible way, but to God it was more than normal, considering where he was: Hell. Every soul in that place deserved its punishment; there wasn't a single innocent.

And the woman seated on that throne was yet another Goddess. Tall, dark-skinned, with short white hair and two small horns protruding from her forehead. Her appearance… wasn't terrifying at all. "Cute" suited her better. But what stood out most weren't her horns or her white hair—it was her eyes. Her three red eyes, identical to Daniel's new eye, glowed with a sinister light.

She wore a white swimsuit that contrasted grotesquely with the macabre surroundings, yet somehow she wore it with an unsettling elegance.

Standing beside her, with an extremely serious expression, was a woman. Blonde, long hair, blue eyes, black glasses, pinkish-white skin, and most strikingly—pointed ears. An Elf. She wore a classic secretary outfit. Everything about her looked serious, almost flawless. Her clothes had not a single wrinkle or stain, and her posture was perfect. What caught God's attention the most was the tattoo on her right forearm. A tattoo that read: Molfer.

God used to think she had gotten that tattoo because of her work with Desmolfer, but after some recent investigation, he discovered the tattoo had a very, very different meaning.

The loudest sounds in the place were screams of pain and pleading, so the secretary snapped her fingers and silenced them all so the two could speak in peace.

"Well, well. It's rare for you to visit, Folpe. What do you want, old man?" Desmolfer said in a sweet voice laced with sarcasm.

"You did it, didn't you? Goddess of Hell, Desmolfer."

Desmolfer clasped her hands together and put on an exaggerated sad expression, as if trying to make Folpe feel guilty—though he knew she was just mocking him.

"Me?"

Emotionless tears began to flow from her eyes, further irritating God, who simply crossed his arms and sighed, waiting for her ridiculous innocent-girl act to end.

"Do you really think I did it? I would never do such a thing, God of Earth, Folpe. I'm a very good girl; I wouldn't do that."

She approached Folpe with slow, deliberate steps and reached out to caress his left cheek. Her touch was soft, almost affectionate, but there was something in her eyes that made the gesture disturbing. Her eyes reflected pure evil in its rawest form.

"Do you really think it was me?" she said, leaning in with a smile.

Folpe didn't answer, but his expression hardened. Desmolfer laughed—a laugh that echoed through the forest like an overly dramatic evil cackle, making God cringe with second-hand embarrassment. To humans, that laugh would cause heart attacks, but to a God used to this sort of thing, it was just another ordinary day.

"Of course it was me! Wasn't it obvious? Did you really need to ask? Old age is getting to you. Are your diapers still clean?" Desmolfer said with a mocking grin.

Folpe jerked away from her, clearly uncomfortable with her closeness.

"Why did you do it? You must not interfere—that's not your job."

Desmolfer shrugged as if the question were trivial.

"I already asked permission from the Supreme God, don't worry, blah blah blah."

"You shouldn't have. I have the situation under control. Stay out of it."

"Ni ti mitis. Your lack of faith in that boy ended up harming him. You should have helped him a little more."

"More? You don't understand the gravity of the situation."

"Fufu. I understand it quite well," Desmolfer said, licking her lips.

Out of nowhere, a large magical mirror appeared before them. On its surface, a live feed began showing Daniel talking with Nismei.

The secretary, who had remained motionless and staring straight ahead, turned her gaze toward Daniel.

She didn't blush like most girls do when they see Daniel. Her heart didn't race. She felt no love for him. Just simple curiosity.

Seeing that reaction, God considered his investigation complete. The evidence was clear; his hypothesis was confirmed.

"That boy caught my attention a long time ago, so I decided to give him a little help."

"You helped him by taking away his pure heart?" Folpe said, a mix of disbelief and disgust in his voice.

Desmolfer laughed again, as if the question were absurd.

"Come on, we both know having a pure heart isn't that important right now," she said casually.

"It is, considering what his mother was like," Folpe replied seriously.

"Fufu. Exactly. That's precisely why I did it," Desmolfer said, flashing a smile that revealed her sharp teeth.

She extended her right hand, and three human figures rose from the ground. The first was Nadia, Daniel's mother. The second was a tall, handsome, muscular man with black hair and a small mustache: Daniel's father. The third figure was Daniel himself. The resemblance between father and son was striking—almost twins—though Daniel's father had a more robust, muscular build.

"Thanks to his mother being one of the sickest, most sadistic serial killers in the history of his world, the hidden evil in Daniel—combined with the eye I gave him—will increase his power both physically and mentally, allowing him to kill anyone who gets in his way without a second thought."

"That's nonsense; he already—" Folpe began, but Desmolfer cut him off.

"Yeah, yeah. Blah, blah, blah," she said, waving her hand in boredom.

She sat back on her throne.

"Strawberry smoothie."

The secretary snapped her fingers, and a strawberry smoothie appeared.

"And the straw?"

She snapped again, and a straw appeared in the smoothie.

"A more fun one."

"Tsk."

The secretary, annoyed, clicked her tongue, and the straw turned into a long, twisty one with lots of curves.

"Hehe. I love that side of you, Nadia."

"Stop wasting time on stupid things. Daniel was already killing; he never hesitated," God said.

"I know, he already killed those who messed with him, but when he tried to kill his mother, he couldn't do it. His heart is too kind—he needs more evil. Besides, we both know this is for the best. Daniel is so good because he has to compensate for the damage his mother did by helping others. That's the problem. You know perfectly well that if he keeps helping people instead of training, that stupid demon will easily defeat him."

Folpe remembered Daniel's fight against the dictator's son, where he had nearly died. Now Daniel was heading straight for the dictator—an even more dangerous enemy. He was risking his life for one world, but Folpe knew Daniel was crucial to saving not just that world, but all worlds. Wasting a life for a single world was… stupid and selfish.

"Maybe. But he's starting to act like his mother," Folpe said, concern in his voice.

"And that's exactly what the world needs."

She began stroking the head of Daniel's father figure.

"His father was a highly intelligent and strategic man, and Daniel inherited that. Unfortunately, the man was lazy and never studied, which made him a terrible student. Setting that aside, Daniel really does have good genes. His father's intelligence, his mother's evil, his perfect soul. In other words, he's the perfect warrior. Now that he has one of my eyes, in the not-too-distant future he will be invincible. He'll be comparable to a God," Desmolfer said with a proud smile.

"How can you be so sure?"

"Because it already happened once," Desmolfer said, looking straight at her secretary.

Folpe fell silent for a moment and turned to look at her.

The secretary paid no attention to their stares and remained motionless.

God nodded.

"I suppose you're right."

"As always, idiot!" Desmolfer laughed.

Folpe approached her, his expression serious.

"Just one more thing. Don't you dare… Well… you know… Don't do the same thing you did with Fransme."

"What thing…? Oh, I see. Don't worry, I'm not going to take his body. I already killed Monderfol once; I no longer feel the need to kill him again. Though that bastard took my precious demons without permission again," she said, annoyed.

"Fine, I suppose I'll go," Folpe said, and vanished in a flash of light.

Desmolfer kept watching Daniel in the mirror.

"Darling, one day that heart will be filled with evil, and when that day comes…" she whispered.

She kissed the mirror with a blushing smile, managing to change her secretary's expression to one of discomfort and disgust.

"I will give up my immortality for you."

"If you're going to masturbate, ¿"me puedo ir a la verga"? (can I just fuck off?) I don't want to watch."

"Fufu. Crude Spanish doesn't suit you."

""Me vale verga". (I don't give a fuck.)"

Desmolfer started laughing even harder than before.

"Yes, yes, it definitely doesn't suit you! Hahahahahaha!"

"Tsk. I'm out. "Adiós" (Bye)."

She vanished, and after a few seconds Desmolfer stopped laughing and smiled.

"You're so much like him."

The image of a smiling boy appeared in her mind, and for a moment her smile faded.

A boy around 15, black hair, red eyes, with a huge amount of tiny red lightning bolts coming out of him.

"…Kei Molfer… That boy was amazing," she murmured nostalgically.

But she quickly smiled again, staring intently at Daniel in the mirror.

"But you're even better than that idiot!" she said with a laugh that echoed through the gloomy forest.

She stopped laughing and rubbed her hands together.

"Well, time to relax."

She was about to pull down her underwear to pleasure herself, but her secretary suddenly appeared out of nowhere and punched her in the face. A powerful, furious blow that sent her flying.

"Who the fuck are you calling an idiot, "pendeja" (bitch)?!"

"Uwaaaah! Wait, wait, you'll ruin my inspiration!"
