In the same mind realm of Kai, as the mysterious woman cracked the aura shield that protected Kai's consciousness, the atmosphere seemed to have experienced a rapid yet almost unnoticeable change.
As her fangs desperately tried to reach his consciousness, from the cracks that spiderwebbed while deepening across the glowing shield of aura, a light gray—almost akin to the color of the aura—mist came out.
Almost as if it were escaping the prison of aura, it quickly came out and spread in all directions like a wave, encompassing the infinite space of his mind.
Soon, as it reached the desolate depths of his mind, it abruptly stopped and vanished into thin air, leaving no traces behind.
At the exact same moment, in that shadowed space of his mind that was yet to be filled with his thoughts, a soft light shone—letting a thin, transparent wall made of the same white glow that protected Kai's consciousness.
As it blocked the path of the other energy, it seemed to have come alive as a bright glow pulsed into the wall, making the whole wall shake turbulently.
*Crack!*
Cracks began to slowly appear over the wall, originating from the point of impact, spreading all across in the shape of raw lightning—uneven and rough.
Before even a second could pass, the wall began to silently shatter away while fragments started to chip themselves off.
Slowly de-attaching themselves from the wall and evaporating in the air before it could even reach the ground.
"Hmm?" A soft yet ever-sounding hum appeared from what was once the other side of the wall.
"The seal... It has weakened..."
As if countless people were saying those same exact words, the sound echoed through all directions.
It was calm, soft, and soul-soothing. Yet, at the same time, they carried a weight comparable to countless lifetimes.
Even though the voice remained calm, a hint of its authoritative demeanor lingered onto it like the small cherry on top of the pie, complementing its nature.

In that silent space of Kai's mind, a raspy giggle softly echoed as it seemed to have come from a long distance.
"Hmm? No wonder the seal got weakened..." the mysterious voice appeared once again, slight chuckles mixed in his tone.
The voice grew curious about what was happening to Kai and thus decided to see for itself.

At the same time, Kai's consciousness was on the verge of being eaten away by the mysterious woman... Or whatever it was, that coiled itself around him.
Drowning in her own arrogance over the fact that her target—Kai—had already fallen into a dormant state while the only thing protecting his consciousness, the weird aura shield had broken, she was only a bite away from taking the victory.
"Soon...! You will be mine...!"
Her fangs grew closer and closer, gnawing at his consciousness.
It looked as if her victory was certain and that sure would've been the case if not for the fact that, even if by mistake, she had awakened something that even the world feared.
"Do you really think," as the mysterious voice appeared, the world seemed to have paused. For a second, neither the world nor the girl realized what was happening as she flinched and felt as though her very essence was being erased as the man continued to talk, "That someone as lowly as you, is worthy enough to devour me?"
Her form convulsed as a feeling of terror took over her instincts, forcing her to retreat her arms and jaw.
The blank space that once reflected the serenity of Kai's mind, had begun to distort and slowly eradicate under the pressure emitted by none other than those words.
"Wh-Who's there!?"
The woman frantically asked, her voice fading away as she felt as though the more she tried to rebel against the mysterious force, the more her essence crippled away.
"To think my body would fall victim to such a third-class spell..." The voice let out a deep sigh, almost as if it were disappointed in Kai.
"This is the Chance!"
Thinking the voice had had its focus shifted, the woman, or the spell, tried its luck at running away, as it quickly uncoiled itself from his body and ran towards the opposite direction.
"Going somewhere?"
As the voice sounded once again with its intentions targeted towards the spell, it reached its limit of endurance and broke, turning the woman into mere specks of dust in an instant.
While a silent hum of the woman's last words echoed softly throughout the entire realm.
"Nooooo....!"
The spell had dispersed, but Kai's consciousness still lay dormant, in a lifeless state.
Suddenly, a rumble began to take over his mind, making his consciousness frown even under the spell.
Up in the sky, where there was no limit, aura started to converge, shaping itself into what seemed like an eye.
At first, it looked like just any other human eye, but it began to grow at an unimaginable rate.
Its color turned bright crimson, while the iris of its eyes stretched vertically—forming an elongated shape akin to that of a demon and reptilian.
Looking at the dormant state of his consciousness, the eye that now covered the entirety of the seemingly infinite space of his mind couldn't hold back as thoughts began to flow toward Kai.
"It's too early for you to be here, for now, focus on getting powerful. Only then, will you be able to know the truth." as it said so, the realm of his mind recovered to its previous state in an instant.
"Kai Evernox, I'll be waiting for you. Now, go!"
The voice suddenly thundered.
Cracks formed over the pink-colored glow that blanketed his eyes, shattering into pieces before the Vision finally changed.
