Chapter 415 - CHAPTER 414: The Foundation of the World Government

Mio raised an eyebrow slightly, his Observation Haki erupting, enveloping all of Marijoa.

At the same time, he immediately noticed powerful figures rapidly approaching from the Holy Land. There were at least a hundred of them—

and…

surprisingly, none of them were weak.

Among them were nearly ten Admirals!!

The rest were numerous Vice Admirals and quasi-Admirals.

And these people…

didn't seem to be members of the CP organization.

Soon,

Mio realized what was happening.

They were already within his sight. He could see they were clad in splendid attire. Although they didn't wear bubble hoods, the aura of superiority they exuded clearly indicated they were Celestial Dragons.

"Is this the foundation of the World Government?" Mio's eyes flashed with surprise.

"The World Government's strength? No, what you see is only a fraction," said a middle-aged man among the Five Elders, bronze-skinned, blond-haired, and with a golden beard, clearly a master of physical arts. "Since the Black Crows have declared war on us, let's take this opportunity to show these pirates the strength of the World Government."

"Marshal Sora, mobilize the troops!"

"Understood." Sora nodded, took a deep breath, and then pulled a Den Den Mushi from his pocket and dialed.

As the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, he commanded more than just the Navy.

If it were only the Navy, there wouldn't even be such a position within the World Government.

The World Government's armies consisted of three:

The Army

The Navy

The Allied Nations Armies

The Army, stationed on the Red Earth Continent, was a force cultivated directly by the World Government itself, similar to the Navy. While it lacked the Navy's elite combat prowess, its military strength was only slightly inferior.

The Allied Nations Armies were raised to better control the World Government's member nations.

A small number of these armies were stationed on the Red Earth Continent, while the majority remained within their home nations. These forces also formed part of the World Government's intelligence and surveillance networks.

Although they were member nation armies, they never truly defended those nations in danger, only exploiting crises for the World Government's benefit.

As the Den Den Mushi connected, Mio's Observation Haki quickly revealed that vast armies were gathering across the Red Earth Continent, advancing towards its summit.

These armies numbered over half a million—perhaps even close to a million.

Adding the Navy, the World Government's combined might surpassed two million, with countless brigadier generals among them. Add to that CP0 and the powerful individuals nurtured by the World Government itself…

It was undeniable that the World Government's foundation was truly formidable.

"As expected of the World Government…" Mio's lips curled into a grin. After learning about their background, his face showed no fear, only arrogance.

"Hahahaha, is that all? Bring out all your secrets, or you won't have another chance!"

"I'm destined to be the master of this world!!"

"Arrogant!" the bald, portly Five Elder roared, glancing fearfully at Yasan before speaking gravely. "Do you think you alone can overthrow the World Government? Ignorant and ridiculous."

"Lord Im, I demand an immediate war to annihilate these damned creatures!"

"Fight."

Im's expression was calm as he uttered only two words from his red lips.

Then—

his figure vanished.

In the next instant, he appeared before Mio as if teleporting. With a gentle swipe of his right hand, a flash of golden light condensed, transforming into a slashing blade.

The force was so terrifying that cracks appeared in the very air.

"This kind of attack won't do anything to me." Mio grinned widely, a terrifying aura erupting from his body, sweeping across the entire Holy Land of Mary Geoise. As his aura spread, countless people felt an overwhelming sense of oppression.

World-class.

This was Mio's strength.

In the lottery after training Yasan, Mio had already reached the world-class level.

Facing Im's attack, Mio clenched his right fist, the power of the Dragon coursing through him. Orange-red flames engulfed his fist as he punched forward.

The golden blade shattered instantly.

"This aura…"

"Such power…"

"Damn it, this guy has actually reached that level!!"

One of the Five Elders roared, disbelief in his eyes.

"Shocked? Then focus on the battle ahead. Because if you're not careful—you'll die."

Asuka swung his right hand, and a Seven-Star Sword materialized in his palm. His eyes glowed red, overflowing with bloodthirsty murderous intent as he stalked toward the blond, golden-bearded Five Elder.

With every step, his aura grew more terrifying.

"Arrogant!" the Five Elder roared. His clothes shredded as his body bulged with Armament Haki, covering him entirely.

The clash erupted instantly.

Ships in the sky crashed to the ground.

Countless pirates and warriors descended, charging into the World Government armies, their cries of slaughter shaking the heavens.

Under Six's control, the ships soared back into the air. The few remaining crew aboard rained down bombardments, killing scores of World Government soldiers.

Warwick and the others rushed out without hesitation, each seeking a worthy opponent.

Over the years, their strength had grown tremendously.

Except for Robin, nearly every member of the Black Crow Pirates was now at or near Admiral level.

Asuka, White Wind, Xiao Qi, and Hei Er each chose a Five Elder as their target.

Finally, only an old man with a long white beard and hair remained still, watching. His gaze was calm, fixed on the battle where Asuka faced a Five Elder.

"The time has finally come," the old man muttered.

In the next moment, his form transformed into an orc-like beast. But this wasn't an ordinary animal—his golden hair bristled upright, and six lightning-wreathed tails lashed behind him.

A Zoan-type Mythical Beast: the Six-Tailed Thunder Beast Fruit—a legendary yokai of Japan.

Strange flames enveloped his body, making him appear otherworldly.

He moved with impossible speed, appearing before the golden-bearded Five Elder. His claws pierced straight into the Elder's abdomen, blood spurting out.

"What?!"

"Damn it, Yagi, what are you doing?!"

The golden-bearded Elder paled. He spun and smashed Yagi back with a punch, retreating with blood soaking his robes. His face was twisted with disbelief.

A fellow Elder had struck him—with murderous intent.

"Surprised?" Yagi asked coldly, six tails flickering with lightning behind him. "I've waited for this day. Allow me to reintroduce myself: Kuromiya D. Yagi—my true name."

"D?!"

"Impossible!"

"Damn it—you're one of them?!"

The other Four Elders turned pale. None of them had ever expected a traitor of the D Clan to be hidden among their very ranks.

"We've waited long enough. The World Government will fall. The glory of the Great Kingdom will return!" Yagi declared.

Raising his hand, thunder split the sky.

"Action!!"

"We've finally waited for this day!"

"Kill!!"

"We are the true masters of this world!!"

"Kill!!"

Cries echoed as countless soldiers suddenly turned on their allies. Hidden members of the D Clan revealed themselves, cutting down World Government forces without mercy.

Bodies piled high in moments.

Mio saw this clearly and smirked, turning to the calm figure before him. "You don't seem surprised at all."

"Unexpected, but meaningless." Im's tone was cold. "Spies of the D Clan were inevitable. That they've come this far is surprising—but once you're dead, they'll be nothing more than corpses. Still…"

Her eyes gleamed with a strange calm.

"…I also look forward to seeing whether you can truly overthrow the World Government."

"After all, eight hundred years of loneliness has worn me down."

Her voice trailed as golden light flared across her body.

In an instant, she appeared beside Mio, swinging her hand like a blade.

Mio vanished in a flicker, dodging. A massive gash ripped across the ground where he'd stood.

"This ability… Space? No… it's not a Natural type, nor Mythical." Mio's eyes narrowed in surprise.

But before he could process further—

Im waved again.

Thunderclouds gathered overhead, and bolts of lightning rained down upon Mio.

Mio didn't even dodge. His body was covered in Armament Haki as lightning tore into him.

His eyes locked on Im, voice low and sharp.

"What… is your ability?"
