Kingston and Georgia watched Paola finish the ice cream all by herself. She did not even offer to share it with them, even though there were two spoons left and meant for the ice cream.
Paola wiped her mouth and left her spoon of ice cream inside the ice cream container. She gave the totally empty container to Kingston, before she relaxed on the sofa and began to feel her stomach using her hands.
She had eaten the ice cream to her satisfaction and had forgotten that Foxy made her feel like a fool a few minutes ago.
"Piper, can you now tell your father and I what made you say you felt like a fool earlier?". Georgia asked her, but Paola turned to her and looked confused.
"When did I say something like that?". Paola asked, causing Kingston and Georgia to become dumbfounded.
Though Paola wasn't pretending. She really seemed to have forgotten about it.
Was it because she was blinded by happiness and satisfaction, thanks to the ice cream she had consumed?
