Paola chuckled because Grandpa Dario was singlehandedly ganging up on Kingston and Georgia, who slightly opened their mouths in disbelief, as they were both speechless.
"But, why were you so careless and ended up injuring yourself, Piper?".
Paola stopped chuckling and tried to avoid Grandpa Dario's gaze as he began to blame her. It was funny when Grandpa Dario pinned all the blame on Georgia and Kingston.
But it wasn't funny anymore now that it was her turn.
"Let's just look on the bright side, Grandpa. I didn't injure my ankles badly. They will heal soon". She tried to reason with him.
"Look at what bright side, Piper? Can you walk right now? Answer me, I want to know. You see? You can't do that". Grandpa Dario said to her, but she shook her head at him and pursed her lips.
Grandpa Dario sighed. He was acting like that because he was truly worried about her. He did not want his granddaughter to ever injure herself like this again.
