The group, noticing his concern, asked, "What happened? Who is that person, and why did he collapse?"
Sam, lost in his thoughts, revisited the moment in his mind.
He had been standing at the back of the truck, consumed by an intrusive thought about jumping off and running back. For a while, he debated whether to give in to the thought or ignore it, but in the end, he gave in and jumped being consumed by his thought.
Explaining to the group, he said, "I was standing, looking back and enjoying the ride.
When in that situation, at a far distance I saw something tragic unfold, at that very same moment my body moved on its on, and without thinking, I jumped off the truck"
He continued, "As my feet hit the road, l fell and rolled down trying to balance myself, I quickly got up not a care of what happened to me.
Then I started running towards the tragic incident, a biker fell down the road in the middle of nowhere.
As I reached at the location bike layed on top of the person making it difficult to get up due to the weight, so I quickly picked up the bike and removed it.
Luckily, the person was wearing a helmet and other protective gear, so it seemed like the person didn't faced critically injuries, but seemed like had no consciousness."
Sam hesitated before adding, "then I tried to help the person to get up, grabbing by the chest, upon which I heard the person scream only to realize she was a girl.
The group exchanged glances, don't tell me that biker was a girl? as Sam continued.
"She came back to consciousness, and I quickly apologized, saying I didn't mean to take advantage of her and didn't know she was a girl."
"The girl brushed it off, saying it was fine since she was dressed as a man and had her helmet on, so it was understandable.
I asked if she was okay and could continue riding, or if she wanted to rest in the car with us. So I turned over showing our cars.

Sam scratched his head, looking embarrassed. "Yeah, I didn't really think it through... Anyway, the girl thanked me for helping her and said she wasn't hurt, so she could keep going. Then she asked where my car was."
He sighed. "That's when I had to admit that you guys had left without me, because I jumped off without second thought to help her without even tell you guy.
The girl then laughed innocently, calling his actions "either the boldest or the stupidest move ever" but thanked him again for his help.
