Flashback
"I'm hope you never come back "Nathania said to Maraian when she was leaving the house. She waved her goodbye and she did the same tearfully.
I was passing by and I heard Nathania talking with someone on the phone, I had suspected that she was hiding something from us. I turned to leave but I was hit in the head by someone and I collapsed instantly.
I woke up not remembering anything, then when I saw her I remembered what she did. Before I could say anything she forced some soup in my mouth and I didn't see anything after.
I woke up again to be in the hospital. I decided to call Maxwell to caution him about Nathania but he wasn't answering my calls.
After I was discharged I went back to my house and didn't bother to go back there again. After a while I decided to go to his company since his house was a no go zone. After the incident I feared that Nathania girl very much.
Unfortunately for me, his personal assistant told me that he had not been in his company for a very, very long time. Because of that I went back to my house heartbroken.
It was until some months later that I heard that Nathania had been caught by the police and sentenced to death." How sad"(note that's sarcasm)
Maraian's Pov.
We enjoyed are selves at the wedding and my kids and I gave our presents to Sandra and her husband. After that I went to stay at a hotel. Because of my messed up relationship with Maxwell, I sold all my building remaining one.
I shared all my properties among my children equally whilst I gave some to the orphanage. It was now easier to be managing about four companies but at times very difficult especially when I skipped at any time.
I decided to visit my friends. I went there alone and left the kids with their nanny. I knocked about three times before someone came and it was Mrs Wendy. "Wow Maraian, i, it, it's been a very long time wow where have you been all this while, oh my God come in"
"Good morning yeah, you are right it's been ages how are you doing by the way" "Well I'm fine by God's grace and how are you doing too" she said happily " I'm also fine, I just wanted to come here to check on you and my fellas"i added"
"Oh that's so sweet of you Maraian, they actually moved to a different estate and live close to each other now, I can give you their address"
"Oh, if you do not mind that will be very great" Mrs Wendy gave me their address and we talked for some time before I left to meet them.
The first person I saw was Danielle we hugged then I went to meet the rest with some kids. Danielle and Athan have two kids now, Nina and John three and Sara and Kwami, two with one on the way. I was so happy for them.
We talked for a while until Kwami brought the matter
"So I heard you divorced Maxwell, does he know that you are here". I looked at him then to the rest and replied saying "No and I don't want him to know that I'm here" You just don't want to make things messy right"Nina asked.
"After the incident, I would like for us to just remain strangers nothing more"
I did look pitiful, honestly guys I still love Maxwell, I never stopped loving him, it was just, he was wayy to complex, arrghh.
"Did you hear what happened to Nathania" Kwami asked . They explained everything to me and I felt sorry for them, Maxwell and Nathania were my rivals and her mother the worst. But yeah guess what I still felt sorry for them.
I gave them my gifts and left later that day I went home late and met my kids waiting for me I tucked them to sleep and I went to my room I was very tired and decided to sleep.
There was this friend of mine I met at where I was staying who wanted me to buy a house for her at an estate. I dropped the kids at Mrs Wendy's place and went to work, their nanny was busy so I told her I would explain to her after I came from work, cause I was so late.
I went to my company and I started work immediately. I called my secretary and she gave me my schedule, I had only one appointment which was to go to the apartment and meet with the Ceo it was a one time thing to meet the ceo.
I didn't want to meet any of the managers they just talked too much.
I forgot the companies name but it was really one of a kind I was supposed to dress to be Ivy Hall but what's the essence of doing that when the person I was hiding from wasn't in the country. I decided to book an appointment with my hair stylist so she could fix my hair for me, I decided to dye it to a different colour.
The problem is I'm indecisive!
I had to get an excuse to tell Mrs Wendy about the kids I couldn't just say anything she is way older than me so it was going to be extremely hard to lie. The look she gave me earlier meant she knew there was something fishy the moment I gave them to her and don't blame me, I had no option it wasn't like I could send the children to school they were on vacation and sending to school again will make them get angry at me.
Especially Zhanarah who never liked going to school but was very brilliant than Zayn, a tiny bit it was like a competition so I had to change their clases and skip them to the upper class it wasn't really hard for them to regain their past grades.
I went in with my shoulder length hair partially below my arm I had made the ends curly and had light makeup on.
I stepped out of my car with my assistant tailing behind me. I took the file to go through again, but my assistant called. I had already bought the house but I wanted to talk with the Ceo and see if I would want to recommend it to others who wanted to buy a house.
I went in to the house and the man seemed familiar his side view and with how tall and how his hair was ohh shit, what had my assistant than this time I read the file and saw it was definitely him argghhh I groaned.
