The words were immediately met with resounding agreement from the numerous Spirit Masters within the tavern. Most of them were commoners, and those who could afford to spend money in Heaven Dou City were generally the most talented among them, born with an innate spirit power of at least the fifth rank.

"That's right! The Star Luo Empire has truly risen to power! Have you all heard? The Clear Sky Clan's Howling Sky Douluo has already led the remaining disciples of the clan to relocate entirely to the Star Luo Empire."

"Even though the Clear Sky Clan has suffered a great blow, a starved camel is still bigger than a horse. They may have declined, but they still possess three Titled Douluos. With them joining the Star Luo Empire, the number of Titled Douluos in Star Luo will reach seven, second only to Spirit Hall!"

"And there's even more to it than that!" a slender male Spirit Master interjected, nodding in fervent agreement with the previous speaker's points. The idea was incredibly appealing to him. He was a Spirit Saint who had brought his daughter to Heaven Dou City, originally intending for her to study at the Heaven Dou Royal Academy. However, because his daughter was exceptionally beautiful, she had been relentlessly harassed by Prince Xue Beng, who had even attempted to make her his mistress.

As a father, he could never consent to his daughter becoming the plaything of a profligate noble, so he had immediately withdrawn her from the academy with plans to take her elsewhere. His first thought had been Spirit Hall, as they had always treated commoner Spirit Masters well. But he had heard that the front lines were stretched thin, and if he went, he would likely be used as cannon fodder, leaving his daughter with no one to care for her. Thus, he had remained in Heaven Dou City. Now, hearing of the Star Luo Empire's rise, he thought that perhaps it would be an excellent choice.

"From what I've gathered, Spirit Hall lost five Titled Douluos in that last major battle. Their strength has undoubtedly plummeted. As they weaken and Star Luo strengthens, it seems the empire truly has a chance to surpass Spirit Hall and become the most powerful force in the world!"

"There's some truth to that. Alright then! After I finish this drink, I'm heading to the Star Luo Empire to try my luck. If I can truly make a name for myself, achieving titles and high command would be well within reach!"

"Agreed!"

Davis, who happened to be passing by the inn, overheard their entire conversation and couldn't help but smile. This was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. After dealing such a devastating blow to Spirit Hall, he had already begun to win the hearts and minds of the people. If so many in Heaven Dou City alone were willing to pledge their allegiance to Star Luo, what about the rest of the Heaven Dou Empire? At this rate, even without the support of the Star Moon Clan, a continuous stream of talent would flow into the Star Luo Empire.

After a moment, Davis, accompanied by Tang Yuehua and the others, arrived at Yuexuan. The three elders waited outside; as rough, elderly men, they felt entirely out of place in the opulent and elegant establishment and had no fondness for such an environment.

Inside Yuexuan, many attendants were still present. Seeing Tang Yuehua return, they all bowed respectfully. Acting decisively, Tang Yuehua announced the dissolution of Yuexuan and paid each attendant a severance equal to ten times their usual salary. She also asked the Spirit Masters who guarded Yuexuan if they were willing to follow her to the Star Luo Empire. Several of the female Spirit Masters, who had a close relationship with her, agreed to go and began to pack their belongings.

Tang Yuehua then went to her private chambers. Looking at the place where she had lived for more than a decade, she felt a pang of reluctance at the sudden departure. She sighed helplessly, her voice tinged with sorrow.

"Alas, the next time I return, I'm afraid this place and everything in it will have changed beyond recognition."

Seeing Tang Yuehua's mournful expression, Davis felt a wave of tenderness and heartache. He wrapped his arms around her slender, graceful figure from behind, resting his head on her shoulder as he comforted her. "There, there, my love, don't be sad. One day, we will definitely come back. When we do, you can open another etiquette academy. Who knows, by then, we might even have children!"

A blush crept up Tang Yuehua's cheeks. "You're impossible," she said shyly. "Who said I wanted to have children with you!"

Despite her words, she found herself starting to look forward to such a life. Perhaps she could even name the new academy after their child.

"You brat! I'll give you three seconds to get your filthy hands off Yuehua! Otherwise, I'll kill you!"

In an instant, a cold, piercing voice cut through the air, arriving before its speaker. With a deafening crash, the window of Tang Yuehua's chambers shattered, and a disheveled yet imposing figure appeared before them.

Looking at the newcomer, Davis's brow furrowed, and he exclaimed in surprise, "Clear Sky Douluo!" He was shocked. Why was Tang Hao here? Shouldn't he be instructing Tang San in the Disorderly Splitting Wind Hammer Method?

"Brother Hao?"

The sudden arrival of the Clear Sky Douluo had also startled Tang Yuehua, who looked at Tang Hao with a panicked expression.

Seeing that Davis's hands were still wrapped around Tang Yuehua's waist, Tang Hao's protective instincts flared into a blazing fury. "You little bastard!" he roared. "I told you to get your grubby hands off my sister! Are you deaf?"

The moment he finished speaking, a sharp and ferocious killing intent filled the room, enveloping Davis completely. An icy chill swept through his body, seeping into every single cell.

However, Davis was not one to be easily intimidated. The Davis of today had been completely transformed. He instantly activated his Martial Soul Possession, using his own kingly aura to resist Tang Hao's overwhelming killing intent. At the same time, seven spirit rings descended from above, one after another.

Seeing this, Tang Hao couldn't help but let out a cry of shock. "A hundred-thousand-year seventh spirit ring… So the rumors were true?" He had heard many tales about Davis's power but had never truly believed them.

A slight smirk played on Davis's lips. He pulled Tang Yuehua closer into his embrace and said with a smile, "Sister Yuehua is my wife. Why shouldn't I be allowed to hold her?"

"What?"

The words struck Tang Hao like a bolt of lightning. His sister was married? He immediately turned his gaze to Tang Yuehua. With his sharp eyes, he could instantly tell that she was no longer a virgin.

"Yuehua, is what this brat is saying true?"

"Yes, it's true!" Tang Yuehua nodded firmly, acknowledging that she was Davis's wife.

"How could this be…" A wave of desolation washed over Tang Hao. Then, his grief twisted back into rage. He raised his Clear Sky Hammer and pointed it at Davis, roaring, "You little bastard! Did you use the offer of aiding the Clear Sky Clan as a pretext to force Yuehua to become your woman? I'll slaughter you!"

Tang Hao was consumed by fury. In his mind, the only explanation was that Davis had used the promise of helping the Clear Sky Clan resist Spirit Hall's invasion as leverage to force Tang Yuehua to submit to him. Otherwise, why would his sister marry a man more than ten years her junior?

At this thought, Tang Hao's anger surged, and he prepared to bring his hammer down.

Seeing that Tang Hao was about to attack Davis, Tang Yuehua's expression changed dramatically. She quickly stepped in front of Davis to shield him and shouted angrily, "Tang Hao, that's enough! My husband and I are truly in love! Davis didn't force me; I willingly chose to be his woman!"

"You… what did you say?!"

Tang Hao was stunned. His sister, who had once idolized him, was now addressing him by his full name.

While he was still reeling from the shock, Tang Yuehua continued, "I wanted to tell you about this a long time ago. But let me ask you, in this past year, have you ever come to see me? If you had visited me even once, I would have told you everything!"
