"Good morning, Elena," Clifford greeted as he stepped into her office, clutching a printed memo.
Elena looked up from her desk and offered a polite smile. "Clifford. Morning. What brings you here this early?"
"I just received this memo," he said, walking over and placing the paper on her desk. "It says you're planning to establish another branch of the Moretti Foundation… in Monaco."
Elena leaned back slightly, raising a brow. "Yes. And?"
"I just want to confirm if this came directly from you."
She gestured toward the chair in front of her. "Have a seat, Clifford. And yes, it came from me."
He sat down but didn't look entirely comfortable. "Elena, I know you're passionate about expanding the foundation. Italy was a huge success. Nigeria too. But Monaco?" He frowned. "I hope this decision isn't being influenced by… personal matters."
