Chapter 2003 - Chapter 1983 – The Human Treasury

"How are contribution points calculated?" Yi Tianxing asked, not at all surprised.

There's no such thing as a free lunch in this world. Even the Human Race's Ancestral Court couldn't possibly offer everything freely to all of humanity. That, in itself, would be unfair—and even risk the collapse of the entire system. Having rules and conditions was only natural.

"Contribution points apply to the entire Human Race," Fuxi explained with a smile. "Anyone who accomplishes deeds that benefit the Human Race and help elevate its destiny will have their contributions recorded. As long as they come to the Ancestral Court, they may claim their contribution points. With those points, they can exchange for any number of treasures stored within the Ancestral Treasury. That, too, is a matter of fairness."

With this contribution system in place, fairness was naturally upheld. If someone wanted something, and the Ancestral Court had it, they'd simply need to offer the equivalent in contribution points. If they had none, it meant they had not contributed to the Human Race—and thus, had no right to exchange for anything. No one could find fault in that logic.

It solved conflict at the root.

"May I ask how many contribution points I currently have?" Yi Tianxing asked, his curiosity piqued.

"You, my young friend, established the first Yun (Destiny) Dynasty, made your name known across the divine and demonic battlefields on two occasions, brought tremendous fortune to our people, and elevated your Dynasty into a Holy Court ruling over five realms. You even forged the Eternal Coin, spreading influence throughout the world. The fortune you've gathered for the Human Race has increased our destiny immensely. Your contribution points are no small amount. You could exchange for anything you wish without difficulty."

Fuxi chuckled.

Were it not for Yi Tianxing's monumental contributions over the years, which caused the Human Race's destiny to rise again and again, the Ancestral Court would not have so generously bestowed treasures upon him—such as the Eightfold Spirit Tea, the South-Pointing Chariot, and various spirit herb and grain seeds. All of these had been gifted without requiring contribution points. Their value was inestimable. They were personal rewards given to him by the Ancestral Court's leaders from their own collections.

"This is your Ancestral Seal. It contains the contribution points you've accumulated. You may check it yourself."

A flash of light appeared in Fuxi's hand, and he passed a jade seal to Yi Tianxing.

Yi Tianxing reached out and took it. The moment it touched his palm, he felt an inexplicable, profound connection with it—as if it were an extension of his own body.

Ancestral Seal

Name: Yi Tianxing

Title: Lord of the Holy Court of Great Yi

Contribution Points: 403,623

In that instant, the data flowed naturally into his mind.

"How exactly are these contribution points calculated?" Yi Tianxing asked, still unsure whether this was a large or small amount.

"Contribution points are derived from racial destiny. Destiny is calculated by years. If a race only possesses a century's worth of destiny, that century will inevitably be filled with disasters and calamities. If they cannot overcome them, they face extinction. If they endure, the race's destiny continues. One year of racial destiny equals one contribution point. Your actions have extended the Human Race's destiny by 403,623 years. And this number continues to grow. As long as Great Yi thrives and grows stronger, it will continue to nourish the entire Human Race."

Fuxi continued with a calm smile.

With this alone, Yi Tianxing had made an incalculable contribution to the continuation of humanity.

Of course, increasing destiny can also bring misfortune. All of it is intimately tied to the development of the Human Race. The intricacies involved cannot be explained in a few words.

"Moreover, as the ruler of the Holy Court of Great Yi, you may enter the Ancestral Treasury and choose three treasures. This is the Ancestral Court's way of supporting both you and Great Yi."

Xuanyuan added with a nod. The Ancestral Treasury, also known as the Human Treasury, held countless rare treasures accumulated throughout Human history. Its contents were beyond measure. Choosing three items from it was a tremendous stroke of fortune for anyone. Furthermore, after selecting those three items, he could continue exchanging for more using his contribution points.

The very purpose of the Treasury was to empower the Human Race's prodigies—to strengthen them and help them rise.

Otherwise, keeping those treasures locked away would be meaningless.

"In that case, I won't be polite."

Joy welled up within Yi Tianxing's heart.

He had always been curious and eager to see what lay within the Human Treasury. This was the culmination of an entire race's legacy. Undoubtedly, it contained some of the finest treasures in existence—perhaps even ones he desperately needed.

Seeing the excitement on Yi Tianxing's face, Fuxi and the others smiled faintly. Without delay, they led him toward the Ancestral Treasury.

The entrance lay directly beneath the Ancestral Temple.

As they stepped inside, treasure light surged before them. Countless rare treasures came into view. Shelves upon shelves filled the space, each one lined with precious items—none of which were ordinary.

"This place holds countless rare wonders. Feel free to choose freely—but it would be wise to select those that will benefit you personally, or the fortune of your Dynasty. If you miss this chance, who knows when you'll next return to the Ancestral Court."

Fuxi reminded him with a knowing smile.

Yi Tianxing understood this well.

He scanned his surroundings. Treasures upon treasures unfolded before his eyes. Suddenly, something caught his attention—a massive crystalline stone, shining with radiant starlight. It was enormous, easily over a hundred meters in size, covered in intricate celestial patterns.

"This is… Essence of Stars?"

Yi Tianxing drew in a sharp breath. He had seen such things before—but never one of this scale. It was a giant among giants. Its sheer size was astonishing, beyond anything he had imagined.

"That's a Stellar Core Crystal," Fuxi explained, smiling. "It's the core left behind after the collapse of a star—formed from its very origin. It's far more valuable than ordinary Star Essence, considered a top-tier divine material, a celestial-grade metal. In the previous era, the Demon Race's Zhou Tian Star Banner was forged from Star Essence, and each flag contained just a tiny fragment of a Stellar Core Crystal. Even that was enough to suppress the stars and dominate the heavens."

"This particular Stellar Core Crystal came from the destruction of a star during the war against the Eternal Night World. Each star contains a world. A crystal like this is nothing less than the origin of a world itself."

Xuanyuan spoke with reverence.

This single item was beyond priceless—a supreme treasure.

"What a treasure… this will be my first choice."

Yi Tianxing beamed with joy. Stellar Core Crystals were extraordinarily useful. His Star Ring was a bottomless pit for such materials—the more the better. This massive crystal would relieve his immediate resource shortage.

More importantly, if nurtured with enough resources, the Stellar Core Crystal could even regenerate Star Essence—making it a renewable treasure. A treasure of unimaginable value.

"Good eye. That'll count as your first pick," Fuxi said with a smile. He waved his hand, and the Stellar Core Crystal flew directly into Yi Tianxing's grasp.

"What's this?"

Yi Tianxing spotted another item—a blueprint.

"This isn't an ordinary blueprint," Xuanyuan said with a laugh. "It's a Star Fortress—a powerful war machine capable of harnessing starlight to launch devastating attacks and move rapidly through battlefields. A fearsome weapon."

Forging it wasn't easy, but once complete, it could fly freely through the sky, serve as a mobile fortress for troops, and withstand the harshest conditions. Its core would be a Stellar Pool made from a Stellar Core Crystal.

It would be a strategic weapon of the highest order.

Yi Tianxing's eyes gleamed. After a moment's thought, he took the blueprint as his second choice.

Then, he spotted yet another curious item.

It looked like a head—a skull composed of countless mysterious runes, glowing with a strange radiance.

"What is this?" Yi Tianxing asked, intrigued.

"This is a treasure of Heaven and Earth, obtained during the early fusion of the myriad worlds. It's known as a Wisdom Brain," Shennong explained with a smile. "It's said that once merged, it greatly enhances intelligence and calculation power, allowing one to accomplish tasks with half the effort. While our own tests only unlocked its lowest level—Yellow Rank—it still provided notable benefits in solving complex matters."

"I'll take this Wisdom Brain as my third item," Yi Tianxing said without hesitation, taking it into his hands, his desire for it plain to see.

He had already conceived several ways to utilize it the moment he laid eyes on it.

Fuxi and the others looked surprised but said nothing more.

Afterward, Yi Tianxing continued to browse the Treasury, exchanging contribution points for several more treasures of Heaven and Earth. Then, he moved to the Grand Library, where he copied many of the Human Race's collected classics—especially the works of the Hundred Schools of Thought. These were the distilled essence of humanity's intellectual heritage.

Among them were the Shennong Scriptures (Agriculture), the Medical Canon (Medicine), the Great Evolution Sutra (Novels), the Art of War (Military), and the Mo Text (Mohism)... and many more. Each was a profound cultivation inheritance, representing a complete path among the Hundred Schools.

With these scriptures in hand, the Great Yi Immortal Academy would soon see the full formation of its many schools—each with a true foundation. Their development would naturally flourish. From them, a steady stream of young elites would emerge.

This was the inheritance of civilization itself.

This time, Yi Tianxing obtained far more scriptures than expected. Though many required contribution points to copy, his reserves were more than enough. The number of texts he acquired could only be described as astronomical. When he finally left the Ancestral Court, an irrepressible smile lingered on his face.
