Countless corpses—ferocious beasts, vicious birds, alien warriors, even human civilians—were being fed to the icy throne like sacrificial offerings. The most terrifying part: their souls had been sealed, frozen within their bodies.
As these corpses were absorbed, one by one, an army of frost and ice began to emerge from the Lotus Throne.
Frost Giants, Ice Dragons, Frost Gnolls, massive snow beasts and birds of prey—each exuding terrifying cold—stepped out and knelt in submission before the Ice and Snow Queen. In their eyes, a mix of fanaticism and icy stillness alternated. The release of such creatures was no mere attack—it was a calamity incarnate.
Each of these monsters was powerful enough to cause snow to fall in June and bring winter to the world. And now, they appeared in endless numbers, one after another.
While creating bodies of ice was easy, souls cannot be fabricated out of thin air. Clearly, the Queen had long prepared for this, using the souls of countless aliens and humans to forge her own Ice Clan army.
"This land, covered by snow and frost, is the territory of the Ice and Snow Queen. Those who do not yield… are to be exterminated."She waved her scepter with icy resolve.
ROAR!!
The moment her voice fell, a storm was unleashed. Countless icy monsters perched upon the Floating Ice Mountain went completely berserk, surging outward with fanaticism.
An overwhelming white tide, devouring all in its path.
The first wave to crash down was a boundless beast tide.
Snowy Jade Spiders, Frost Demon Wolves, Ice Armored Beasts (resembling plated bison), Snow Bears, and Frost Hounds—innumerable in number, they formed a monstrous white wave. The cold released from their bodies gathered into a blizzard of pure destruction.
Wherever it passed, everything was frozen, turned into statues of ice—even stone solidified, coating the land in thick crystalline frost. It was as if the world itself was being turned into a frozen dominion.
"Not good! Hurry, send out the warning—the Ice and Snow Queen has made her move!"
"Horrifying! How could there be such a massive army hidden in the Floating Ice Mountain? The cold—it's unbearable! My blood feels sluggish, my body temperature is plummeting! A storm is coming—a blizzard stretching from heaven to earth!"

The Floating Ice Mountain was under constant surveillance, especially after the last failed assault. Spies—both hidden and overt—kept watch.
But this change happened too fast. So fast that there was no time to escape.

The incoming blizzard froze everything. Spies, no matter where they hid, were turned into ice statues in an instant—faces frozen in terror, vivid and lifelike.
Thankfully, before being encased in ice, some managed to send out urgent warnings.
"What? A mutation at the Floating Ice Mountain? Countless snow beasts bursting out, freezing all they touch, destroying all life?"
"Not a single spy returned alive—they were all swallowed by the storm."
"Quick! Alert everyone! Gather all warriors! Bring out the tribe's sacred treasures. We must not let the beast tide destroy us!"
The alien tribes were shocked beyond belief. Then panic turned into swift mobilization. Everyone knew that if this tide of ice beasts reached their lands, the consequences would be unimaginable.
"So soon? The Ice and Snow Queen is moving already?"
At the Beast King Court, the news eclipsed even their outrage over Da Yi's elevation.
Compared to the future threat of Da Yi, this was a clear and present danger. If the Queen succeeded, the world would not simply suffer a winter—it would become a permanent glacial age. For non-ice-based races, this meant death. No survival. No future.
How could anyone endure that?
"Send the command: The Beast King Court and all affiliated tribes must mobilize their elite forces. We will fight the Ice and Snow Queen to the death!"
The Behemoth King issued the order without hesitation.
They had tasted defeat once before, learning firsthand how terrifying she truly was. The title of "natural disaster" was not merely symbolic.

With the ascension complete, many national artifacts evolved, and the imperial aura transformed—now a sky-blue hue. The Five-Clawed Golden Dragon had returned to hover above Xuanhuang City after inspecting the land.
At that moment, Tong Huang, standing before the Heavenly Sacrifice Platform, stepped forward in alarm.

"Speak."Yi Tianxing stood tall upon the platform, his imperial presence unquestionable—each word carrying the weight of a sovereign's will.

"This wasn't supposed to happen yet—the one-month ceasefire should still have time left. Has the Ice and Snow Queen broken her word?"
"No… she never actually said her army wouldn't act—only that she herself wouldn't make a move. We misunderstood. And frankly, she was never bound by any promise. If she wished to act, she could do so at any time."
The report had been heard by surrounding ministers and citizens—all were shaken, pale-faced.
No one expected the disaster to come so fast—or so fiercely.

Tong Huang delivered the most terrifying truth.
The main brunt of the beast tide was coming straight at them.
This was no coincidence.
This meant Da Yi was likely the primary target of the Ice and Snow Queen's wrath.
