However, when it comes to Buddhist cultivation methods, practicing them requires deep study of Buddhist sutras and understanding of Buddhist truths. Only through this comprehension can one cultivate these techniques to a high level. Without such insight, one is destined to stagnate at a bottleneck—possibly for hundreds or even thousands of years. Comprehension is especially crucial. Moreover, Buddhist techniques are, in many ways, extremely powerful cultivation methods in their own right.
In particular, the Golden Body techniques of Buddhism are formidable. Once one achieves the Buddha's Golden Body, the strength of the physical body becomes overwhelmingly powerful—nearly on par with that of specialized body refiners. In addition, Buddhism encompasses numerous unique divine abilities that are immensely potent.
For example, there are the Six Divine Powers of Buddhism:
Divine Eye (Clairvoyance)
Divine Ear (Clairaudience)
Telepathy (Knowing others' thoughts)
Past Life Insight
Supernatural Travel (Teleportation)
Exhaustion of Outflows (Freedom from desires and defilements)
These powers, while described as uniquely Buddhist, are actually six types of life acupoints that can be awakened through cultivation. Both Daoist and Buddhist sects have similar equivalents, differing only in name rather than in essence. What distinguishes Buddhism is the integration of these powers into its cultivation methods, allowing them to awaken naturally when a practitioner's realm reaches a certain stage.
Naturally, Buddhism also provides specific methods for cultivating each of these divine powers.
