Chapter 803 - Chapter 0792: This is a Trap

In the eerie, silent city of Baiya (White Crow City), not a sound can be heard. It feels like a battlefield frozen in time — a ghost city that appears completely empty. Standing before this massive bone city feels like facing a monstrous, peerless beast. Anyone who steps inside will be utterly consumed and buried alive.

Ye Zhiqiu touches his chin, murmuring with a sense of foreboding:"Why do I have this ominous feeling about this bone city? It seems not like an ordinary giant city but some sort of ill omen."

Lu Zhishen curiously inspects the city and wonders if Baiya City is connected to the "White Bone Nether Crow" they encountered earlier, questioning why it is named this way.

Despite its ominous nature, this city is the only one within the vicinity large enough to hold the million-strong army of Dayi. Jia Xu's eyes flash strangely—this battlefield is very different from what they imagined. No other races or powerful beings are visible; only they remain. There's something strange about it.

The city gates stand wide open, surrounded by a moat that is now dried and stained dark red with blood.

Suddenly, Yi Tianxing shouts a sharp command and summons the energy around him into a cold, blood-colored spear made from pure essence of heaven and earth. This spear pulses with overwhelming power, glowing with lightning, and surges forward to strike the city gates.

The spear embodies the spirit of countless soldiers charging forward fearlessly—a divine punishment with thunder crashing.

BOOM!

The spear hits the gate with the force that could shatter a mountain. Yet, after the explosion, all the spear's power suddenly vanishes as if hitting an abyss, leaving the gate and the entire city undamaged.

The open gates resemble the maw of a hungry beast, ready to swallow everything whole.

The soldiers witnessing this feel a chilling sense of dread. Even those at the "Ming Tuo" (命图境, a high cultivation level) would be shattered by such an attack. The spear carries not only spiritual intent but immense physical power—capable of catastrophic destruction.

Suddenly, the giant bone city trembles violently, as if awakened from a long sleep. The surrounding air becomes suffocating.

Bones on the ground burst apart, and a terrifying giant white skeletal claw rises, followed by another claw emerging from underground. The city, it turns out, rests upon the back of a colossal skeletal Nether Crow—a truly monstrous creature with wings spanning across the sky, made of bone and emitting eerie black light.

This skeletal Nether Crow supports the entire city, which can hold millions of people—its size beyond imagination.

The creature's bones are etched with dark mysterious runes that pulse with natural energy, forming eerie bone patterns. Its eyes resemble endless black abysses capable of swallowing all light—but they lack "soul flames" (灵魂之火). Without these soul flames, the skeletal crow is effectively dead, a relic perhaps from the previous epoch—since the Battlefield of Gods and Demons has only opened in the current Eternal Era.

The crow is a "Nether Crow King" or even "Nether Crow Emperor," not a living creature but a terrifying undead existence.

Green Emperor (Lv Huang) jokes nervously, impressed by the monstrous crow, claiming it might be the strongest opponent he's ever seen.

Ye Zhiqiu shudders, realizing that stepping inside the city might be like entering the belly of this Nether Crow—dangerous and unpredictable.

Jia Xu agrees solemnly: they're likely in trouble.

As the skeletal crow emerges, countless smaller skeletal crows appear on the city walls and buildings, their cold eyes flickering with greenish soul flames. Their gaze alone instills a deep, overwhelming sense of death and despair.

Suddenly, a massive skeletal crow with a black crown featuring a single central eye (like a third eye) descends onto the city walls—the Nether Crow King.

Yi Tianxing calls out calmly to it, trying to avoid conflict and asserting they have no hostile intent.

The Nether Crow King responds in a chilling, soul-penetrating voice:"You cannot leave. Life forms sent into the 'Heaven and Demon Pit' (神魔天坑) cannot easily escape. Your highest cultivation level—Ming Tuo Realm—is insufficient."

Yi Tianxing asks what this place is, sensing a rare opportunity to gather information.

The Nether Crow King explains coldly:"The 'Heaven and Demon Pit,' also called the 'Ten Thousand Bones Pit' or 'Endless Abyss,' is a vast pit used to bury countless bones in the Battlefield of Gods and Demons. It looks expansive but is actually an immense pit. Only one in a hundred million chance leads you here, and once inside, there is no escape."

Ye Zhiqiu is stunned—this place is literally a trap, a vast, endless pit meant for burial.

Jia Xu realizes why no other enemies or races were visible—because they are all trapped here, surrounded by uncountable bones.

Lu Zhishen looks at the Green Emperor suspiciously and jokingly wonders if the Emperor's bad luck caused them to be sent here—an ominous and unlucky place indeed.
